Have some butt kickers this afternoon so grabbed Maximus at lunch. Always up to the task :)
Red? Is that you? I recognize that back drop...
I picked up on the similarities in the posts, then noticed the stairs background. I think you've busted him Red handed. :D

Newer to the knife world and have a random question. Will dealers get this knife before the Spyderco website?
They are usually one of the first to put stuff up for sale but not always The first.

Re: Completely Forgotten Spyderco Models: Your Favorites?

T-Mag isn't that old but it was a trip to learn that it was a magnetic slip joint. Apparently it didn't get favorable reviews but i bet it makes for a good collectors piece.

Re: Expansion of the culinary line with spy-27?

My plan is to buy 2 Spy27 mules. I'm going to attempt to grind one up into a more kitchen friendly shape, make some scales (or something that resembles scales) and test it out. Then I'm going to learn from my mistakes and make another to give as a gift. If i fail... my backup plan is Spy27 bottle op...

None. I managed to leave the house without a knife in my pocket

It’s gonna be a weird day

I think I’m going to die.
There is no excuse for this!
I keep 2 in my toolbox, 2 in my car and 1 at my friend's house. Just in case.

Re: Mandatory Spyderedges: Who Else Agrees?

C102 Dialex Adventura. I think anything with a recurve would do good with some teeth. I always like the ADVENTURA model from our good Brother "Dialex" who we haven't heard from much lately. But I've got another Spyderco Recurve to offer up for consideration for a full Spyderedge. It wasn't too long...

Re: Knifejoy factory anodized Spydiechef

That Add To Cart button is still there. I don't want it but i kinda sorta do. I had to cancel my credit card yesterday because of fraudulent charges... So no Spydiechef for me.

Re: Yojimbo vs PM2 durability

BladeOps still has their Emerson opener Pm2 exclusives in stk in black or satin blades. The saber grind should make for a stronger blade. The Opfocus program wouldn't apply though.

Re: A couple Police4 G10 / LW Questions...

Quoting Sal from bladeforums August 24, 2020, "In my opinion, the P4 is the most functional and to be honest, I designed the P4 primarily for high performance EDC despite its large size. I carry one quite a bit, and I just approved of a serrated K390 version." I don't know if that counts as a produc...

It's only $49. And it matches your user name. It's not even an option for you to not buy it. :)

Re: A Manix 2 with a sharpening choil instead of a finger choil would be perfect, IMO

In agreement with Abyss_Fish and Wartstein...love it for what it is already, just needs a tiny bit more tip length to lengthen the edge even for a small amount. A little bit of trimming the handle width, and a smoother CBBL that would allow one-finger operation would be nice. But if they oh so slig...
