Re: Spydercos used by professionals

Having worked military and law enforcement trade shows for Spyderco for over a decade, rest assured that our knives have been, and continue to be, carried by members of all branches of our military, all the "three-letter" agencies, and just about every other type of unit or agency you can think of....

Re: S35vn on the Tenacious...what does it mean?

I dunno, I don't think this release is really for us. This to me more feels like a way to get non knife people into the world of not terrible knives. This is a premium version of a knife in one of the most popular lines of budget knives in the world. Having something nicer IN that line shows people...

Re: S35vn on the Tenacious...what does it mean?

I think the price is absolutely fair. It is the exact same price as a Para 3 LWT that uses BD1N, which is not as good as s35vn. It is one of my favorite steels and is used by most of the Chinese manufacturers in their higher end knives. And I appreciate the design. It is only .09" larger closed than...

Re: What are you buying from Reveal 6?

The Tenacious s35vn for sure. I am going to get the Endura k390 instead of the Police or Endela. Maybe the green Salt in LC200N. It would be a great kayaking knife.

Re: The Para 3 LW: Features or “Bugs”?

I like the LW better and it just makes more sense for a knife of that size. The weight and feel are much better for me and I love the clip. Unfortunately, I hate the horrible action of the one washer system and the blade is so far off center that it rubs against the scale on all of the ones I have h...

Re: When someone says ''Spyderco'' which of there knives comes to mind first?

For me it will always be the Endura. I bought an Endura and a Rescue in 1991 when I was in the Army and it totally changed the way I looked at knives. I even went to a special operations expo in I believe 1992 at Ft. Bragg and Spyderco had a booth there. Whoever that was manning the booth was quicke...

Slysz Bowie. With the now legendary status and high demand for them I am surprised that it has not been brought back yet.

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

An FYI..... anyone calling for a different steel or a sprint will be disappointed if you pass and it gets discontinued because of low sales. . Not as disappointed as I would be if I bought it in a steel I don't like. I am not going to buy one just so the numbers go up in hopes of them doing sprint ...

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

I really hope they do other steel choices. A knife buddy and I both want these, but we will pass on s30v. I would even give it a try in SPY27. I was really hoping they would be in this latest release.

Re: What will you be getting from the new reveal?

Probably nothing. I would love to have the s90v Native Chief, but it is a sprint run so I will never get ahold of one. The SwayBack is awesome, but pricey. I may go for it depending on finances at the time.

Any chance of a Bentobox M390 Yojimbo?

I love my BB M390 Delica and PM2. They have quite a few of the popular Spydies for their exclusives. An M390 Yojimbo would be perfect. Thoughts?

I was born lefty, but raised righty because more things are suited to righties. I do alot of things both. Things I was taught as a kid I do mainly right and things that I have taught myself (like pool) I do left. Knives I do both and carry a folder on each side. I actually spydieflick better with my...

Fingers crossed for PM2 LW with a wire clip.
This, but with a really good steel. LC200N would be awesome.

Re: How many knives do you typically carry?

Usually 3. I rotate through different knives pretty often. Lately it has been a Spydiechef in the front right, an M390 Delica, Microtech Ultratech, or Kizer Kala in the left rear, and a V-Toku2 Ladybug in my coin pocket. Sometimes I add a Leatherman on my belt.
