Re: How has SG2/Supergold treated you?

I've got the (Mass)Drop SG2 Delica and I think it's a perfectly good performer, seems pretty comparable to S30V in terms of edge retention and ease of sharpening, it's better than I thought it would be, certainly better edge retention than I have experienced using Vtoku2.

Re: Sal; will we ever see...

My recollection is that Sal did confirm that the Jazzlica would be included in the K390 Seki series. I could be wrong though. It would be great if the Wharny Dragonfly got the K390 treatment eventually. ZDP189 is an outstanding steel, in my opinion. In Larrin’s edge retention testing of 48 knife st...

Re: Any interest in the return of models like the pingo?

I had a K390 Pingo that I still regret letting go. It's really a well designed knife with highly functional blade for a variety of tasks. I would buy a 'fancy' upgraded model and I agree that it's a platform just waiting for an upgrade. I've got the Ti Elmax version and I really like it... but I've...

Sage3 (Bolt-Lock) - either updated CF or G10 - SE & PE Options
Ulize updated G10 scales or perhaps Micarta - SE & PE Options

For Both Models, steel possibilities . . . 4V, Rex45, K390, 10V, CruWear, depending on which of them play nice with SE.

Re: October and Rex45 aka RexTober!

Hope to see a Rex45 run in one of the models I like to carry. Normally not one for colors aside from black or green, but I love the burnt orange on these knives. I know, right? When I picked up the models from the first sprint run I wasn't a huge fan of the scale colour but I loved the steel, and a...

Re: Fully serrated Stretch

They are really hard to find, so I understand your frustration. I picked one up a few months back from www.countryknives.com, I would encourage you to reach out to them. I think I got the last one they had in stock but it's worth asking them IMO. HTH

Cheers,

Re: What Spydie do you want in your Christmas Stocking this year?

An orange P4 with S90V. G10 preferably, but FRN is just fine. Even if one of these doesn't end up in my Christmas stocking, maybe Cutlery Shoppe will see this and decide I've been good enough, so they will comission a run of orange P4 exclusives. I won't hold my breath, but I also won't give up ask...

Re: NEW: MGE Wholesale Teal Native5 Exclusive

I do love s90v & the Native5, and given the price point being where the recent Rex45 & 4V models were I am in for one. I'm not crazy about the scale/handle colour, but that light a colour to start with would offer a lot of options in the Rit dye department, I think most any shade of green or blue wo...

Re: Knifeworks Exclusive CTS-204P Delica 4

I just got my order in, I keep telling myself "no more Delicas or Enduras" but this is a steel I don't have, and an excellent FRN colour sooo.... yeah, one more in the collection. :)

A Native Chief -- Rex45 or S90V (or DLC/4V perhaps?)

Re: Anyone got the SE Endura Wharncliffe?

I have the SE & PE Wharnie Delica's and they are both awesome, the SE get's 90% of the pocket time of the two. It's a beast of a cutter pound for pound / dollar for dollar. I think it and the SE Lil' Matriarch are my two most carried SE blades.

I have two P4 G10's / K390 and one of he new P4 Pakka's and none of them exhibit this behavior, glad to hear you were able to resolve it yourself. Please update us if the issue returns. :)

Re: A couple Police4 G10 / LW Questions...

Quoting Sal from bladeforums August 24, 2020, "In my opinion, the P4 is the most functional and to be honest, I designed the P4 primarily for high performance EDC despite its large size. I carry one quite a bit, and I just approved of a serrated K390 version." I don't know if that counts as a produ...
