Red vs Blue
Nice looking Stretch! Mine is on the way…

Thanks, I'm really liking it so far & I just finished my Tasmin2 Salt blade swap, it was a great pairing for the day :)

Is that a polished edge I see on your SuperBlue Stretch1 or is it just the light/angle?

Cheers,

John

The owner states that he has already changing (web) hosting providers & is in the process of putting a new website up all together. I wish him well, hopefully this will resolve the really difficult drops they've been having.

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-58 JD Smith model

I think both the OG model and the Sprint are beautiful, and I rarely use the word beautiful to describe a knife. The lines, curves, it's just a fantastic design IMO... not an easy knife to find.

Re: I'm scared of the Para 3

I have really wide hands & wear XL gloves, and while I generally EDC a Shaman, Chief, Manix or P4 -- I do have a few Para3s that I like just fine, but I think the G10 Naive5 is a bit better fit for my hands and they get the most "small EDC" pocket time from me.

Re: Picked up a Sun and Moon Chaparral for my bday. First Taichung knife and it's perfect.

The Chaparral line is so wonderful, I've always found Fit & Finish to be impeccable with all of them. I carry the FRN version more than all the others combined, it's the best small/light EDC for the money from any knife maker. I just hope the Micarta model lands soon... :D ;) KnifeCenter, if you...

Re: Why does spyderco use XHP for fancier knives rather than harder working knives?

Aside from the Manix2 LW in XHP there was also a G10 version, I have it and like it, but it honestly gets zero pocket time from me, between the all Manix2 models/steels I have 99% of my Manix2 pocket time goes to 4V, Rex45, and S90V. In my experience XHP should be treated like a tool steel not a sta...

Re: Cruwear Endura with OD FRN scales

I picked up both the Delica & Dfly in TiCN CruWear w/ OD Green FRN, and I would definitely grab an Endela or Endura should they surface, and given they unlikelihood of 4V or Rex45 ever showing up in Seki models I think CruWear is the best hope for us tool steel lovers. On the Golden front I thin...

Re: Spyderco 2021 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

Is anyone else having issues with the app? I was told to check the app twice this week for details, which never came! I was hopeful for a bit when a "View Now" link showed up under the "New Para Military 2" listing, but only linked to the previous listing images of the "Man...

Re: Police 4 LW Sheepscliffe Salt

I'll take two SE & one PE in that that configuration, and while we're at it, I would love to see a P4 LW S90V TiCN PE/SE in black FRN. Between Police & Chief models I don't think I would have need to ever buy another large folder in my lifetime....

Re: What is this?

Looks like maybe a laser start/stop point? And yes probably patina/corrosion starting. If you are interested in removing the K390 patina you've got started I would suggest some Flitz, and once removed you might consider keeping a thin coating of mineral oil on your K390 (or any other tool steels) b...

Re: Lil Native Clip Problem - Unusable, Help!

I had this happen with my Rex45 Lil' Native & it wasn't difficult to resolve, the knife is designed for the clip to be moved/removed from one side to the other so I would start by just loosening the screw a little bit, then a little more if necessary, I'd wager it won't take much at all to at le...
