Unneeded stress? I was able to skip my coffee this morning; angling for a Mule is better than caffeine! I've been wired all day!

Re: Not fun

I have two Mules in other steels, so I didn't even bother staying up for this drop, which happened 12 midnight in our time zone. There are other makers that have knives coming out in this steel, and I have a pre-order with one of them. There will be more opportunities for people to try MagnaCut with...

Re: Spyderco Knives Fixed Blade thread

Those are nice Mule scales, did you have someone custom-make them for you? Thanks! Yes, those were made by Wacky of Tier3. The grey one is micarta, while the light green one is stabilized wood. Thanks! I know Wacky G. by reputation. I might *ehem* drop them a PM one of these days... You're welcome....

Re: Spyderco Knives Fixed Blade thread

All I have so far are the Street Beat, Gayle Bradley Junction, Mules in PD1 and RWL34, Enuff, and a Ronin 2. I was thinking of getting the new MagnaCut Mule, but I am saving to get a Province before they disappear for good. While I like the Mules, my focus now is not so much being a test pilot for n...

I'm more concerned about copies of entire knife designs. Tell me this doesn't look like an elongated Yojimbo 2.

Re: Native Chief CTS-XHP on the fence

I haven't had corrosion issues with XHP even though I live in a place with a nine month long wet season. As stated above, drying it off after use is important.

Nice! So much better with that MXG clip right?
Thanks! I was making do with the tall stock clip for a while, but I agree that the MXG improves both the looks and the ergos of the Swayback.

Re: Spyderco sebenza/hinderer love child.

This thread needs a modded Sebenza photo. I just saw this on BF, someone did a spydiehole mod to a Knifeart C.F. exclusive with Insingo blade, I think it looks very good and well executed. Evil D might like this one! http://i.imgur.com/lCqzYYc.jpg Wow. I might have to grow a pair and do this!

Re: 2021 misses?

I regret not getting a CutleryShoppe PM2 wharnie. I'm not really fond of the PM2 platform, as I only have one in S30V. I just found it too big for my needs. Seeing photos of it on the forum every now and then makes me wish I had gotten it nonetheless, as I really like wharncliffe blades. The abundan...

Re: Random: General Spydie Chat

I just want to say how happy I am that Spyderco never succumbed to the fidget spinners craze despite multiple requests. Not sure what made that pop in my head but I just wanted to throw it out there. I dunno, there was the Southard, and a few Mantras... :squinting-tongue Don't forget the Hanan, Adv...

Re: Spyderco sebenza/hinderer love child.

For me this would be the Techno 2, if it was a bit longer. Its scales feel the most CRK-like in terms of thickness, although the Burch Chubby also comes close.

I'm hoping that the company does a new run of the Paysan, as I've never even seen one in person.

I really like the ZT 0470. It's the reason I was hesitant to buy a Drunken for so long, as the 0470 was enough Sinkevich for me.

Re: BladeHQ Native 5 M4 mint green dropping Dec. 3

Wow, BladeHQ really doubling down and going all in on their mint green LW series! I'm not a fan of the Native LW at all since I find the blocky FRN handles uncomfortable for my hands, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of N5LW fans out here very happy that this one is dropping! I know what you mea...
