Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run

I got one from KSF as well. I don't even go fishing, but I'm curious to try the model out. There’s always time to start! 🎣 ;) I've honestly never given it much thought, which is ironic seeing as I live in a country with 7,100-plus islands. Who knows. Maybe I'll take it up after retirement :thinking

Re: Native Scout?

WE could always buy a Native chief and do this, too : https://messerforum.net/threads/spyderco-native-custom-special-wip.145705/ You probably could, Robin. I would most definitely ruin a dozen or so knives, spend a significant amount on power tools and other equipment that I don't currently own, an...

Re: Endela appreciation thread

^ Those scales look great. I'm considering getting a wharnie Endela as well, though I might get the VG10 variant as corrosion is a challenge in our area.

Re: What knife is this?

I too would be interested in a return of the Junior. However, if you want one while your kids are still kids, the recently discontinued Sliverax has a similar guard in the handle. You could also grind off the flipper tab if you want to make it thumbhole opening only. https://www.knivesshipfree.com/s...

Re: Native Scout?

Following vivi's line of reasoning, Spyderco should not have developed the Endela, but instead suggested to people to grind down the Endura. I for one am glad that the Endela exists. I still have one solitary Endura from the 1990s. I never bought another as I found it too long. But now I have a bunc...

I like the orange CutleryShoppe exclusives in CTS-XHP and S90V, as well as DLT Trading's OD green Cruwear releases.

Re: Native Scout?

Next to the Native 5, the Manix 2 is my favorite platform, though I wish it was less of a pocket hog. So yeah, I'd be in for a 3.5 inch Native.

Re: Wharncliffe Wednesday

The wharnie Delica/Salt 2 is such a wonderful knife. It's sad that they discontinued most of the lineup.

Yojimbo 2 on me this Wednesday.

There's already a thread discussing it.

Hard to find anything else to comment on until people actually get it in hand.

Re: The Astute

It could be a new clip pattern for the Atute, which Spyderco could still use on future models of this size.

Re: The Astute

Isn't the hole in the clip just so you can access the pivot screw if you carry right hand tip down?
