2020 was terrible but you were great. You produced some awesome new knives and pulled off a last minute online seconds sale amidst a pandemic. Thank you for always pushing the envelope and maintaining your integrity.
Well said, SG. A big "+1" from me, too!
I definitely agree

Re: Your First Spyderco in 2021 !!!!!

Endela PE. VG10. Really like this knife more than I thought I would. Appears slightly too big to try as a pocket knife without the clip, but it feels good in the hand.

Re: Tell us about your Spyderco Knife of the Year 2020

I like pocketable knives, so I was really looking forward to the sun/moon chaparral as the 2020 knife of the year- but another knife surprised me. It was the color/appearance, the steel, and thankfully what initially caught my eye was the holiday sale price. Always wanted the steel in a pocketable k...

Re: Thee Most Practical Spyder Of All Time? Your Choice?

Would probably be the Delica. Large knife for some, small knife for others, just right for the rest. Blade length meets most legal requirements/restrictions. Lightweight, feels good in the hand, comes in multiple colors/steel choices/blade shapes, does not appear menacing to non knife folks. Sturdy ...

Re: This is devotion...

That is a great solution. One would think some designer would offer longer/deeper pockets... When choosing shorts and jeans/pants, I always check the depth of the pockets. Shallow pockets show up in mens clothing, as well, just not like they do for ladies.

Re: Boye dent poll. Let your voice be heard or be a sheep in a herd.

I like the way Spyderco put them in some, and not in others. So, yes I like knives with it, and yes I like knives without it.

I did not vote, I like both. For example, I like the wider Native does not have it, and I like the Delica does...

Great comparison and review! :) You practically mentioned all I too Iove in that perfect little knife and better than I could (resp. than in fact I DID mention a lot of times here already... ) I may add what a great, rock solid backlock the Chap has (internal stop pin) and emphasize what...

Re: Choosing the Chaparral

Nice review, very informative for size comparisons ... As I have a FRN Chaparral, I was hesitating buying a DF2. I was afraid of a too short grip for 4 fingers. It seems that the grip length of the DF2 is very similar to the Chap's one... I made my choice, I will definitely try the upcoming DF2 Sal...

Choosing the Chaparral

Most of the time I prefer to carry in the pocket, not clipped. I am older, so I suppose the term pocketknife stuck. I admit I sometimes carry fixed blades, multitools, and even some larger folders clipped or in a sheath, but am always looking for that optimal pocketknife. The Chaparral appears to be...

Re: Do you have "easy to sharpen / high edge retention"-pairs of your favorite Spydercos?

I really like zdp-189 for smaller blades, there is just something about the razor sharp edge and how long it holds that edge. It is comforting to just touch and slice when using a smaller blade. I have always wanted to try s90v in something like the delica - thinner than the native. More stain resis...
