This is so touching. I am confident that Sal and company will do this right. And I don't say that about many companies.

Re: Knife Joy 20CV Wharncliffe Delica

I collect more Natives than any other pattern, but this will take precedent over the N5 in M4 for me. I'll just take the risk. I love 20cv and love Wharnies.... oh man my poor knife budget this end of the year.

Re: The DAMAUKPK Project: Damasteel UK Penknife UKPK

I'm in for one, whether the few mm gets sorted out or not. Still a heck of a knife and yes, I do consider it a dress rehearsal for the UKPK and will support it accordingly. Thanks Sal!

Hands down for me the Air. That M4 in a thin wharnie blade can get surgically sharp. I'd love to get a Pingo if they ever come back and a Kiwi.

My go to is BKF, found some liquid version that's good. But give the Dawn x5 spray and a toothbrush a try, I was amazed.

Re: Which model is most likely to be the first Spyderco folder in MagnaCut?

Sal has said as much as it’s be a golden model and probably native, para3, and PM2. As for the first… if the steel is still limited it’d probably make sense to start with the model that requires the least amount of steel per knife. That’d be either the native or para3… I agree with this statement, ...

Re: poll: preference of production or exclusives/sprints?

Thanks to Larrin, I'm more interested in what's been termed "balance" steels. Not something I fully understood before his work. So thanks Larrin! That being said, since I live in a desert, I can slant my preferences to tool steels without needing absolute corrosion resistance.

You ever want to know about torsion springs, ask a garage door repairman. And no that's not me, but last time I needed a spring changed out I expressed some interest and learned a ton.

I'd love some more sages. I missed out on a few and would love for this to be revisited. And MagnaCut is the steel to do it.

Re: Bladehq Sage 5 in M4 and mint green scales

This is one of the reasons I rarely order from Blade HQ anymore. They're based in Utah and I live in Idaho. But they ship from a warehouse back east often. I get my knives faster from National Knives or DLT by far. Congrats for those of you who got yours already. Pics would be good.

Re: Would you buy this?

Before I bought the GB2, I saw a video where the reviewer disengaged the liner lock by pinching it between his thumb and index finger. I bought it anyway knowing it had that quirk, and I've been happy with it ever since. The ergos work well for my hand. I'm just wondering if they improved the deten...

So glad the color put people off, got tied up at work (not literally mind you) and wasn't able to order until tonight. So looking forward to this and hoping it's the first of many Sage sprints!

Re: Autonomy 2 storage

In the reading I've done most springs don't take a "set" when kept in a compressed state. The bigger issues is the fatigue that happens from cycling the spring. It's only going to have some many repetitions before fatiguing and eventually failing.
