Re: Is this a fake please help

the hardware looks a bit off, should be different torx sizes, but .. that's no guaranteed indication. the rest most definitely looks legit, e.g. the jimping, the edge grind, the rounded cutout at the lock, etc.

Re: Sharpening choils - Why?

I have never had the little J shape near the ricasso have any effect on cutting performance at all, personally. yee yu right. The cutting performance is better without a choil or notch. But we were talking about sharpening. If you leave the original Spydie edge as is and 'just go ahead and sharpen'...

Re: Sharpening choils - Why?

here my take: If you have a modded "primitive geometry" at the ricasso, then no one needs a sharpening choil there. Because a sharp 90° edge of your stone can perfectly sharpen that ricasso corner, i.e. both the ricasso and the bevel simultaneously. it's either or. either mod to primitive geometry o...

Re: Probation period

Hi i am no spammer or bot. If you're on BladeForums, you probably know me from there. My posting frequency is maybe 3-6 posts per week. I was also all over CPF (2000+ posts) before i got more interested in knives than in flashlights. i still use several flashlights everyday.

I like the IP Man movie series quite a bit! All of their fighting scenes are my favorites. Or how about the final fighting scene in Cobrai Kai Season 2 last episode? :D

Re: is this delica 4 real hopefully

@TazKristi Thanks for your welcome, i've been a contributing member on BF for years now and all my non-budget knives are Spydercos, i've got four original models. Small collection but reasonably so. Before that, i did get my hands filthy from AliExpress knives which sported the :spyder: logo and als...

Re: is this delica 4 real hopefully

it's fake. 100%.
doesn't even pass the optical FRN test.
the FRN has to be sharp (edges, corners of the elements). on yours they are rounded.

they exist on ebay and such, t2 custom standoffs. i wasn't interested.
I'm liking my t2 with a custom commercial backspacer in G10. I've got two of them, one smooth, the other microgeared. 29.95€ for it ouch.
