Would instantly buy Salt 2 or Stretch 2 XL Salt GITD.

I liked seeing the Jokers unique exclusives, seeing Travis' chill videos about Spyderco releases, and regret that I never was close enough to visit the shop.

You truly don't need liners as Spyderco had proven years/decades ago. Have you heard of a Pacific Salt failing?

There's no perfect steel but with Spyderco having so many amazing steel options, one can come very close to getting the "perfect " steel for your lifestyle. Kayaking and ribeye sounds like a good one!

I had a bad National Knives experience personally from the one purchase I made there. Reached out to Rob about it and got no response. Would have definitely ordered more from them by now due to the pricing and the fact they often seem to have sprints/exclusives/discontinued items still available ...

Stretch 2 XL Salt in SE is worth trying.

Bolster Sierra Nevadas so variable conditions with some unexpected storms. I got snow on trail twice last August. I have never done a trip with no stove, but I would like to try it sometime. There are some long-distance hikers/backpackers who won't carry more knife/tool than one tiny Victorinox Classic SAK ...
but that level of obsession makes absolutely no sense to me.


I don't really see it as an obsession, everyone's gear choices are individual, and the amount of weight it is ...

I would have to try one I think. I am happiest with FRN backlocks, but never justified the Chap as I have that size range covered

Thanks for posting guys. fail on the sellers part not to show off those full liners. Ah, the more I think about it, the more I want one. The only thing is I could get for less money a salt Millie or pm2, a cru wear stretch, or pretty much any spydie I desire. But this one is highly collectible!

Has anyone bought this, what do you think of it, and do you have pictures??

2. Military 2 Salt - just wanna try it
3. SpyMyto - seems like lionsteel already makes it for cheaper

Salt 2 PE or Wharncliffe for a smaller knife or Stretch 2XL Salt SE for larger.

My S2XL in K390 grabs on the edge of my pocket and is hard to get out. I don’t have this problem with my salt versions, the clip itself is more pliable on those. I will need to bend the clip on my K390- something I really avoid doing. Or swap it with an extra salt clip if I can find one.

Joining the chorus here— nice knife, unfortunately too pricey for me.

Para 2 or PM3 in magnacut, whichever blade length you think you will like more.
