I would be interested in buying one and converting it to tip up as well.
I only have a hand drill. I wonder if that would work?

Greetings, The only thing that is keeping me from buying the Brown Cru-wear is that I can't stand the color of the scales. Yes, I understand the Cru-Wear is awesome, but I don't like the scales. When I was a kid in the 1970s (9 years old), I went to the neighborhood pool. We had just come from drink...

I hate to be a contrarian. I love the blade material, but the scale is the only thing keeping me from getting this. The scale color looks like an old woman's bra!
I would much prefer anything else. Probably my favorite would be green canvas micarta.
