Wouldn’t ya know it? Uneven grind at the tip and Very stiff action… Gonna be busy this weekend, but will probably reach out to spyderco before any more time passes by. Hopefully I can control my impulses to do a teardown 😅 probably not

that's a shame. out of ~15 manixes I've bought previously, the Knifejoker variant is the only I've kept. It has the best action and snap out of any LW one I've tried, and it looks the best too, reminds me of translucent N64s when they came out. Thanks for commissioning this run Travis!

Yeah, I think they put a blanket discount on all Spydercos, and this exclusive wasn't supposed to be in there

Finally tracked down a near mint Sage 2 for a fair price. These got discontinued before I even started collecting, but I really wanted one for the longest time. By far the best Spyderco framelock IMO, and the best Sage. I've tried the Techno 1 and 2, Domino, and ...

I never liked the smock because of its terrible ergos, and the fact that the button compression lock made the handle distance to the cutting edge twice as long as it would be on a normal knife. The Sage 6 looks like it keeps the exact same shape as the other sages, so that's interesting

I'm surprised at the variation on these boxes. Today I received a Bodacious that says "USA MADE", while a Manix 2 from Knifeworks said "Made in United States" in lower camel case letters, while every other US Spydie I've had before has said "MADE IN USA".

Mine should arrive Monday and if it’s not a hollow grind… I’ll be returning it.

I have two Quiet Carry folders, the Nine in Magnacut and the Drift LC in LC200N. I find that the LC200N gets "scary" sharp much easier than the Magnacut, and also "bites" into material much easier

Dang I've always wanted one but that's a crazy price. Also that blue anodization that discolours from finger prints on this and the blue Spydiechef has always looked cheap to me, if it was plain Ti I wouldn't be able to resist
