Good steel, not crazy about the handle. Solid red would’ve been better. $15 more than the KW green/204P also. Pass.

Fluted CF is out there but you may have to look a little. G10 sprints and exclusives don’t usually stay in stock for long. Regular production G10s (S30V & S110V) are not hard to find.

I look at it on a toughness scale. The longer/larger the blade, the tougher the steel should be. High edge retention/lower toughness on small folder, higher toughness on fixed blades

If you really want a high performing non stainless 52100 is a good performer and a very well known knife steel with not too many surprises. I'd probably buy one even though in a Native I'd prefer 4V or similar. Without the coatings and Red color especially. I'll go with the flow on this one though....

I’ll take one of each in 52100 and SB. Keep the peel ply CF (CQI linerless) and sandwich the 52100 between some 410 stainless for something extra special.
