Thinner blade question

Thin blade stocks are laser beams through whatever they cut. I don't see a lot of knife makers creating thin blades (Sandrin Knives being the only one). I'm just wondering why? We have the quality metal now to reduce the problems that may come along with thinner shapes, and it's blade stock would al...

Re: Yojumbo original vs all black (side by side)

It appears from the picture that the G10 texture is slightly different , or is it the lighting ? I love my Yojimbo and keep trying to convince myself I don’t need the Yojumbo . It’s a losing battle , usually don’t get excited about black blades , but on this knife it works for me . MG2 The G10 Scal...

Yojumbo original vs all black (side by side)

Yojumbo is one of my daily carries. Prior to picking up the all black version I was looking for side-by-side comparisons. So I figured I would contribute for anyone else that was in my situation last week.

Re: Sal - What's next for the Military?

..... Oh, also perhaps something that makes the PM2 a little safer. I know myself and another person who "got bit" by the knife because while it was in our pockets it somehow deployed itself slightly. That said, it was only once in the three years of having it. Backlock and CBBL folders w...

Re: Sal - What's next for the Military?

Did you ever consider an Endela (Backlock, about PM2 size lengthwise, but thinner carry and blade, and almost as light as a Manix 2 LW)? First i've heard of the Endela! Thanks for the heads up but I prefer the compression lock. I'd be interested in seeing something in Delica/Chapparel thickness on ...

Re: Sal - What's next for the Military?

Hey Vivi, I guess that's a good question. Eric was working on the 2" version. The original "2" version had a stop-lock and broke at a very high number. Then Eric worked up a "2" version with a Compression lock that he hasn't put into queue. Some minor design mods. One of ou...

YoJumbo production cycle?

I noticed most stores are sold out of the Yojumbo, are plans in place to roll out more this year before Christmas or Q1 2021?

Thanks

PM2 disarms Tripflare

Cool story that happened a couple hours ago, I was on the night shift training troops who are in the field and came across a trip flare during a safety patrol. It nearly went off, thankfully I felt the wire against my shin- you'll see the pin nearly came out so this was a pure luck moment. My PM2 he...

Re: Horrible: Store broken into and Spyderco knives, etc stolen.

Crime will always be around, new strategies will be developed to combat it. Community engagement with the local police, camera systems, good leadership inside communities and cities will always reduce a lot of it. Keep your head up, deviance is often interesting and thats why it's reported. Good thi...

Shout out to DLT for limiting 2 per household. I feel like a lot of these sprint runs get bought up by ebay resellers.

Also, Happy Bday America!
