Re: Chaparral in Canvas Micarta?

Definitely. Considering these are all about different scale materials, it seems likely we'll eventually see micarta or terotuf scales. Fingers crossed.

Re: Para3 lightweight stiff!!

Have you tried adjusting the pivot at all, or any other screws? These definitely typically come easy to flick open with a finger, and able to drop shut freely. But yours may have been over-tightened a bit. If you can loosen the pivot screw a bit without creating blade play, you should be all good.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Forgot to bring a pencil sharpener to the cabin, so I used the rex45 manix to sharpen up a new pack of colored pencils this morning.

Re: What was your first Spyderco?

Sad to say I can't remember which one came first...it was either a Tenacious or a Dragonfly salt, I think. Then a Delica came soon after. The Tenacious got replaced with an Alcyone, but I definitely still have the Dragonfly.

Re: Cost of Doing An Exclusive

A Manix 2 in green micarta and K390, 10V, or 4V would be stellar!!! A dark green Manix LW with K390, 10V, or 4V would be even more super fantastic! I’d like to buy two! Idk how well tan PVD would go with dark green, but I am intrigued. Yes everything!! YES! If the 10V PM2 gets good reviews, I can s...

Hi Scott welcome and above all have fun. Food for thought STRETCH 2 . Make each day count.over and in . Out You might also like the recent sprint version: the Straight Spine Stretch 2. It's a limited run, but still available. Very affordable, lightweight, and with a blade shape and length more like...

Lol - I definitely did that once with my cruwear manix. I set it on a pretty tall hitching post for a picture and knocked it like 5 feet down onto gravel. Doh!

Re: 1st spiderco

Go back a page in the forum topics and check out the thread titled "The Best Bargain of the 21st Century." Hint...we're talking about the Manix 2 there. The native 5 is an excellent knife, and I do own a lightweight native, but imo the Manix is one of the best values in Spyderco's lineup, and there'...

Re: REC PM2 CPM 10v Hardness

According to the hrc database thread, this 10v looks to be significantly harder than the 10v K2 (at 63hrc), and on par with the k390 police (64-65.5hrc). My K2, tested at 64.2 JuPaul. So I see Spyderco as being very consistent, when it comes to treating 10V. :spyder: Oh nice. I think there was just...
