Native 5

Manix 2
Shaman

Having a hard time finding scales to replace the smooth g10 on the native (no one seems to make scales for linerless natives), so it may be on the chopping block soon.

Re: Sun/Moon Chappy

It does make me wonder why the manix lw is made with frcp if frn can be made so much cheaper than g10, though. So they can do the translucent? Julia, the reason for the disparity may also be that Spyderco may have chosen to sell the G10 Manix 2 at a lower than normal profit margin. Know they've don...

Steven Spielberg was discussing his new project - an action docudrama about famous composers starring top movie stars. Sylvester Stallone, Steven Segal, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all present. Spielberg strongly desired the box office oomph of these superstars, so he was prepared ...

Re: Pendant knife

Didn't Santa Fe stoneworks do dressed up Bugs? Yes, and they still may. Of course theirs only feature overlays on a regular SS Bug, so not quite what Doc Dan is after either in terms of steel or handle. OTOH, not sure how practical an unlined G10 handle would be on a knife that small. A little off-...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

Were these sold through preorder only and are sold out already? No actual drop when they have knives in hand? I bet there will be at least a few available after the 24th from people that pre-ordered then canceled. Also, they've have multiple batches of the pakkawood models. Don't see why this would...

Re: Any dog lovers?

Love all the pictures! Aside from the few years I lived in dorms, I've always had a dog or a roommate with a dog. Can't imagine life without one (or two). Here's Eli - a blue doberman we adopted about 6 years ago. He's about the gentlest old man you'll ever meet, despite the fact that he had a prett...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Nice pair. I have contemplated the WolfSpyder but haven't bought nor handled one. I've always thought it was a neat little knife, but couldn't find it for a reasonable price anywhere. Then not long ago I had some store credit from Spyderco, and saw they actually had them in stock. Today was actuall...

My ideal forum knife would be SE so that would ruin it for a lot of folks so I may as well stop there.

Don´t! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=85797#p1393182 :D
I'd be excited for a SE forum knife as well. It's iconic spyderco, so makes sense to me.

Re: Sun/Moon Chappy

Good catch Julia! I keep forgetting the LW Manix uses FRCP and not FRN. I should know better since an LW Manix was 2nd ever Spyderco. Fairly uncommon material, it totally slipped my mind! I bet your absolutely correct. It does make me wonder why the manix lw is made with frcp if frn can be made so ...

Re: Sun/Moon Chappy

Standard black G10 with a small inlay, a different colored G10 on the other side with a different small inlay, same XHP steel...for $70 more than the standard frn version...this feels like the biggest rip off of the new reveal. Was very surprised and disappointed in the price. Also. Is it white or ...

We frequent the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, which is like a reptile zoo. I’ve had bearded dragons, tree frogs and such over the years. My step daughter got the sweetest rosy boa there a few years ago and I’m often back buying food. It’s not uncommon to see really big snakes or monitor lizards at...

Back when I was a early teen, I had a German Shepard, awesome dog, big Shepard, great dog! Me and my dad had just got back from the hardware store (you guys remember those?), anyway Ranger walked up to me, it looked like he had swallowed a softball and it was stuck in his neck, seriously! We threw ...
