Re: Forum knife 2020 - final model poll

UKPK, with burgundy linen micarta. Still would prefer a tool steel like K390, but SPY27 is great too.

Re: Large slipjoint Spydie, anyone?

The prototype that I have is red G-10 and leaf shaped like the Heinnie Haines model . It's not been put in queue yet as the factory is very busy. The Alistair slippie is first going to be a locker due to the success of the larger version. Thew reason fr a larger slippie is Canada and Germany. sal T...

Re: Lil Native

Unless they do a CF/S90V I’ll wait for a DLT or BBS M390 that I’m sure will come.

The Caribbean is being CQI’d, should be restocked shortly.

CQI ? ! Do tell ...
I was told it has something to do with the liners.

A return of the g10 version would be cool
G10, Micarta or Carbon Fiber would all be winners in my book. Pair them with K390 since they are made in Europe and make it a production model. I just don’t see any downside to this.

So will we see the UKPK G10/FRN or the Manix XL in Rex45 as well?

Re: A big decade for Spyderco

The PM2 is a perfect design that I think could go unchanged for another decade and still remain the best on the market!

Re: SHOT Show 2020 Videos and other info concerning new models

I might be the only one, but, the tanto doesn’t do anything for me. Honestly, I think it ruins the lines of the PM2. If it had a more chiseled handle maybe it would appeal more, but I feel it’s trying to be something it’s not. On a different note, being a BHQ exclusive solidifies my choice not to ge...

Re: Spydies that U R saving up for

I can't believe the number of orange knives coming out. I realize that it's color coded to the steel but if you aren't a fan of orange scales your options from this reveal get narrowed down in a hurry. Very true. I don’t do anything orange, ever, so that makes it difficult with this. That evil enti...

Re: Bombshell Flash Batch

After seeing it with Eric in the Shot Show 2020 Video I’m even more stoked! Thick blade with thin scales and the serial number on the inside of the Ti liners makes it a keeper AND user in my book.

But, there are only 1200 being made so I hope I can snag one!

Thanks for all that have shown interest. If you have any design questions on it, feel free to ask. Thank you for an awesome design and collaboration! Do you have any pics of a side profile showing the backspacer and blade thickness? Thank you! I don't have any pics of the side. I handled a producti...

Or one could use it as a trainer.

I’ll definitely be picking at least one up. Is the blade removable, so you could maybe stir your drink with it?

Re: Bombshell Flash Batch

Horrible pocket clip, and terrible ricasso area. What’s to like here?! Why "horrible ricasso area" ? Optic-wise? Cause functionwise it's pretty good just imho: Sacrifices not much actual edge, still perfect for choking up on. Just in my experience control and leverage is better, if a choil (or othe...

Re: Spydies that U R saving up for

My second Spyderco Province in 4V. The second one, I am going to fiddle with the handles. Might have aftermarket green micarta grips made for it to match my Chris Reeves Green Beret fixed blade. Let us know what you find with the scales. I found a guy who could custom make micarta scales for me but...

As far as the clip, other people want a "custom" clip on a high-end collab. I remember people complaining about the standard hour glass on the Paysan and Nirvana.
That is why I love the Paysan, a custom knife with everything from Spyderco I love added.
