Re: Newbie with question

I wear a suit almost daily, and of the knives in production that I carry are: Urban, clipless in bottom of pocket Roadie, in bottom of pocket Sal was right in that with a suit lighter the better, so linerless would be best. If I need a larger knife I’ll take the Kapara with a black wire clip added. ...

Re: Yojimbo vs PM2 durability

Have both, love both, and can’t live without either! Once you buy one the other will be close behind, and you will never regret either purchase. They will both do exactly what you want, but please don’t pry with the tip.

Re: Province - Corrosion Resistance

Welcome to the Forum, taklev! :) What concerns me about wetting any carbon steel knife is not what I can see but what I can’t see like water getting between scales and blade stock. I never run any knife under underwater if I can help it except for Salt series knives and I reckon it’s saved me heart...

What if it was more like the Tusk with blades that came out of both sides, and with a little more grip.

Re: Salt Dyad interest ???????????????????????????????

So it would be like the Caribbean and Dyad had a baby! How awesome would it be to have the SE Sheepfoot and PE Leaf from the Caribbean on the same knife, all in LC200N?! It could be called the Canal, Channel, or Strait. They are all terms for connecting two bodies of water.

Re: How about a folding Whale Rescue? Aka a safety tipped Spyderhawk? Rescuehawk?

Wouldn’t a club be more effective? Joking, I love the idea but I’m sitting here trying to justify a reason to tell the Mrs why I need one! “Just in case the kiddos get tangled in some rope?!” I see some H1 sheers being good as well. Well this isn't so much a "knife community EDC" idea as it is a "s...

Re: Show me your keychains!!

I try to keep my keys light, and with the detachable flashlight I can make them lighter. When carrying the keys the heavy weight flashlight is the only part slipped into my pocket. https://i.postimg.cc/hjpZmSxm/ECE82038-8-F4-E-4195-94-FB-4-B4203-F1-A0-EA.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/nL138H3W/ED8-F56-F3-...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

To my understanding we were still waiting to hear whether they could do screw construction and a four way clip. After re-reading Sal’s comments my understanding is that the knife will now be (per Mas’s desire): VG10 Grey G10 Pinned Construction Same thickness Tip down carry Also, we still have yet t...

I would love to see any of the steels you have mentioned, but in my gut I would think AEB-L would make the Chaparral a pocket scalpel!

Re: Question for Sal regarding the green LC200N salts

I would love to see all the salts with this green! FFG LC200N would be nice but I like H1 as well. I have one request, if there is another Spyderhawk run done in green and FFG LC200N please don’t upgrade the handle to the Endura 4, just keep it the same (and with out the jimping)! :D Fixed it for y...

Re: SOLID Carbon Fiber Chaparral

I’m guessing then you don’t care for the layered CF scales out now? Not trying be be snarky, just wondering if solid CF would feel/handle better? I don’t have a knife with solid CF, so I dunno. Either the marbled or shredded would look good I think. The G10/CF Laminate to me is like putting a Ferra...
