Re: AEB-L Urban Performance Reviews

I just figured this would be an easier addition to the Urban lineup. - The AEB-L is already in Europe from Germany - The Italians already know how to work this steel in this knife. - The Wharnie Urban has already been done. - The Olive Green FRN is already in or on its way to Italy. - It won’t dupli...

Re: AEB-L Urban Performance Reviews

I would love to see a regular production Wharncliffe Urban in SE AEB-L. Would also be nice to see it in the same green as the new Roadie.

Re: Upper Tier Sharpening Systems?

Mine has arrived, the wife says it's on the counter...but I have to grill steaks and help her get some of her spring decorations out before I can "play with my knife stuff" as she put it. HOPEFULLY I'll get a chance to check it out and leave a little feedback later tonight! So I’m guessing you didn...

Re: Upper Tier Sharpening Systems?

Has anyone here tried the Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener?! https://www.worksharptools.com/shop/sharpeners/manual/precision-adjust-knife-sharpener/ I'm getting one to try. I always liked my lansky, but got tired of its quirks and limitations. This system will have limitations as well, b...

Re: Did I miss out on the Native Chief Sprint Run?

This knife continues to impress me every day I carry it! These giant slabs of linerless CF feel so nice in the hand with this new texture. I’m actually beginning to wish this texture was on all my CF Spydies. If y’all are on the fence about this one you will not be disappointed. Get em before they a...

Re: Need your Educated Opinions

The Watu would fit your needs, it has a very comfortable grip and 20CV. If you want to go a bit longer the Kapara is a great choice too.

Re: VG 10 Is Hard? Roc.

Thanks for bringing this model back up, it always seems to slip my mind. I would really like to see a sprint in this! Maybe 4V will benefit with the thickness behind the edge, and of course my favorite, rock patterned CF like the PPT.

Re: We finally got the UKPK Salt. Thank you Sal

I’m so pumped for this one, it’s going to be hard waiting! Some CF or Ti aftermarket scales are going to make this knife one of the best. Flytanium, better get them ready! A few days ago I send an email to Flytanium and asked about scales for the Slipits and especially the UKPK . Here's the answer....

Re: Lil Native Sprint S90V CF Question...

I’m just speculating: I believe the Chief was supposed to have the standard peel-ply that we were familiar with, and once released it ended up being a bit smoother. Maybe that is why it took so long to bring it to market, due to the supply of the standard peel-ply CF. None of the descriptions state ...

Re: Mule Team quantity discussion

Honestly, I prefer the Mule Team being in house only. It makes them special. It's like a perk of being part of the family. If I were to change anything, it would be to make a pre sale option for them on the forum. I would have ordered atleast one. I missed out on this one, unfortunately. But, as is...

Re: More Chaparral Variants

I personally would love to see a SOLID carbon fiber model. Plain, marbled or shred would be great, but if Spyderco wanted to take it to another level it could be done in Blackwood. The Chaparral has an internal stop pin on the blade. I assume you could you mill out a path for the stop pin in the ca...

Re: 2021 Forum Knife Wishlist

I'd like to see an Endura with S90V FFG, smooth maroon linen micarta scales, 3d machined with a Spyder machined into both sides. This would be a dream knife for me and it would be fun to listen to people whine about how much it costs. :D I actually dig this! I love S90V, burgundy micarta, and big k...

Re: More Chaparral Variants

I think Micarta would indeed be the most obvious next choice. And a great one imho. ;) / But if I take the term "variant" more broadly: - Chaparral XL would be great, as said many times! Keep all dimensions (thinness, height..), just give it about Endela size - SE and/or wharnie blade shape : Must ...

Re: Shaman Z-Wear Sprint - General Discussion & Support thread - (not alerts)

Mine had those same spots when I got mine last year. They'll disappear and blend in the more you carry it. Yeah, I figured it's just the nature of Micarta. Just weird as none of my other Micarta scaled knives have had those blemishes out of the box. Still kind of a bummer as even though I use 90% o...

Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)

First off, this knife is unbelievable! I’m not even a huge back lock fan and I freakin love this thing! Secondly, it is just what I thought and it is in between the peel-ply and smooth. I actually love the way it feels, smooth with a slight orange peel texture. I love the matte finish too. https://i...

Re: We finally got the UKPK Salt. Thank you Sal

I don't know why Spyderco just doesn't make LC200N the base steel for this knife anyway. We can have colors and still have low maintenance. Of course, I'm thinking like a guy who lives near the equator/jungle/ocean. I'm just super excited to have a FFG SE option in the UK family. How about a K390 P...

Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)

Could you post a pic when you have a chance, of the Chief with some of the others you're referring to? I don’t have the CF Chief yet (and may never), just from the pics I’ve seen on IG and the comments here that it’s a different texture CF has been enough. The peel ply texture I was hoping for was ...
