Re: Siren?

Seeing this today confirms my initial thoughts when I placed my pre-order months ago. It's simply fantastic. Congrats Lance.

Re: Forum Knife 2020 - No Holds Barred!!!

NO holds barred...Nirvana, damascus blade, mokuti handle.

Realistically, the Native Chief or Siren LC200N with full serrations. Or a serrated jester salt...

Re: Sprints

It's easy for someone to look at a sprint's popularity in hindsight and say "you should have made more." Not so easy when you're guessing what you can sell and fronting the money.

I also find it a bit silly for Nick S. To be criticizing sprints yet have a drawer full of sprints.

I'll pick up another pac salt in large part to be able to run a deep carry clip on one, not too excited about the rest. Still waiting on the Siren!

Re: Spyderco "niche" and/or hardly known knives

One of my favorite Spydercos that gets little attention is the Warrior. The Al Mar Warrior and Rekat Hobbit are some of my favorite designs. I recently by chance discovered the Kumo. Probably was common knowledge to many but I had never heard of it. I've been collecting custom RJ Martin fixed blades...

Voted lil native only because native chief wasn't an option. I'd go for fixed blade as well.

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

I've never used vinegar. Started out dying a bunch of Magpul pmags, then a couple Glock frames, finally half a dozen knives. I run a paper clip through a hole and twist it off, then grab the clip with pliers. Start with 2-3 minutes in the solution, then pull it and judge how the color is taking. Som...

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

Mine have all been simple single color jobs. The more I do, the less I overthink it. I used to submerge in boiling water but then I'd worry about the knife hitting the bottom, found I get results just as thorough dumping boiling water into a cheap plastic coffee mug from a gas station and soaking. E...

I'm thinking about picking up a military before year's end. Which one, which one. 🤔
Haven't decided what Millie I'll be trying but there's a bread truck shirt enroute.
