Re: Count the eBay Flips of Seconds...

There's enough going on in the world that you can fill your days looking at all the bad examples. Better to focus on other things and ignore that which you can't change.

I'm ready for these QC issues to be over so we can get some good LC200N vs H1 serration testing in progress.

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS

People are being a lot more polite on this forum, on other social media platforms the response feels very negative. I hope this sale isn't going to result in issues when knives start arriving and they don't meet buyer's expectations.

Further proof that no good deed goes unpunished. My sympathies to the Spydercrew.
This. We should just be grateful the sale is going forward at all. I'll order something new tonight and wait for next year's sale in person.

Re: DLT Cruwear purple Para3

I sold my crucarta shaman to someone who missed out (at cost) and I don't own a PM3 so I tried for this one to have the steel in a new (to me) format. Didn't score but I'm accustomed to the process now, it's not the end of the world. Don't know why this thread is so long, it's hardly the first time ...

Re: Just for fun. What configuration?

So hard to decide. Endura 3 handle but with an hourglass clip, full stainless liners, brown linen micarta scales, LC200N fully serrated blade with a hollow grind. Remove the thumb ramp jimping. Drill for RH tip up only. Serrated Waterway with bolted on scales for easier replacement. Bonus: Cruwear S...

I'd try a mineral oil bath in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Yep, find a gun shop that offers ultrasonic cleaning. They might even do it for free since there's no disassembly.

Re: Lightest Weight Spydercos...?

Well you said Ultralight and not lightweight so I'll throw in my 2 cents... I've done a thru of the AT, numerous partial runs and a lot of shorter trails and I just plain don't carry a knife anymore. My ladybug didn't weigh much...but a lot of things don't weigh much until you add them up.
