Re: Most Ideal PE Or Spyderedge

I believe the salt 2 has a slightly thicker handle than the delica.

I tried a pair for a delica - great fit, appearance and texture. The owner is a real pleasure to speak with as well.

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

After a first attempt at dying my Caribbean scales black resulted in a greenish yellow I regrouped and tackled them again last night. 1.5 bottles of RIT dye to approx two cups of water. Alternated between boiling and simmering. After nearly two hours a nice dark grey was achieved! By comparison I di...

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

Blast! Now I have to get some of these for a Pac Salt. Not sure that will work out: Pac Salt has no liners. You're right but I can do a swaparoo with liners from an old endura if need be. Frankendurasalt. I would be really surprised if the pivot hole to lock cutout geometry is the same. I believe y...

Re: Shipping of internal parts

I guess I'll need to contact customer service after tonight. I took apart my Caribbean to dye the scales and stripped two screws in the process. 😭 I've always dyed salt models in the past without breaking them down first, lesson learned.

Re: Swayback Lookout Thread

The price, size, not clip bothers me. I’m very excited for this release. A lynch clip will work nicely so I’m glad I have the option here. The extra holes for lefties does bug me though. As a lefty I would normally obviously appreciate the extra holes, I noted in a another thread it made no sense o...

My first thought was, "this isn't going to work with a Filipino grip", but I suppose it's not intended to.

Re: What will you be getting from the new reveal?

Yellow PAC salt and the Pochi are definites. I'm intrigued by the rockjumper but if there's a leaf blade on the way I'll wait for that. Better yet would be a Salt variant. Initially I would have gotten the swayback but upon further inspection it's a bit larger than I'd want for a secondary blade and...

Please bring back the Bowie with a similar lockbar insert!
I had the Bowie and didn't really care for it, prefer the Paysan, I'd still love to see it return just to kill off the ridiculous secondary prices these days.

Re: Swayback Lookout Thread

I prefer the spoon clip but the drilling this one for left and right hand carry was a mistake. ZT has already screwed up some otherwise nice looking designs doing this, sad to see it here.

Looking forward to the next reveal as there was nothing in Vol 4 of interest to me. Even if things aren't going to make it out in 120 days I'd like some good news to brighten up the current state of affairs.
Didn't have to wait long. ;)

Re: Knives for fidgeters?

My son is 2. I can't fidget with my knives around him bc if he sees me using my knife he wants to use one too. Obviously this cannot be allowed. So I got him a toy swiss army knife... Looks like he's been prying with it from the bend in the blade... 😑 https://i.ibb.co/Mg071Tn/20200429-222429.jpg Th...

I enjoy closing a backlock in various ways but spinning a karambit trainer is my go-to fidget diversion when sitting at the desk.
