40 minutes in and not sold out. I wonder if flippers sit back and start sweating when a knife doesn't sell out super fast and start regretting their purchases lol. I hope so. I bought one, and I would take a $10 reduction in future prices just to screw over the weasels who bought them to make money
Well, it's 30 $ more then standard S30V with DLC coating. Is it worth that extra money? Hard to tell. If someone is really sold on tanto blades and loves PM2, I think it's not that much expensive. There is a lot more grinding to do with this blade profile, so I think the price is fair. Don't know w...
So it’s dropping soon. $192 from bladehq....kinda steep. I get that the grind is a lot more complicated than the FFG version, but for that price, could we at least get a little variation?? Maybe some digicam g10, maybe a fully serrated version? And I don’t buy the line that “tantos just don’t sell” ...
I find it funny that people are excited about S45vn (which is EXTREMELY) similar to s35vn in composition, but complain about s30v. The extra % of vanadium in s30v means it’s almost certainly going to outperform both s35vn and S45vn in regards to edge retention. I really don’t understand why so many...
As much as I love spyderco, and I consider sal and Eric as prophets, I’m sure we would have similar innovations come along eventually. I think the true contribution is the visual and ergonomic design of spyderco knives. They are just simply some of the most utilitarian, yet stylish knives around. I ...
I’m on my third PM2. I sold the first 2, but after going through dozens of other knives ranging $100-$600, the military line of spydercos are ending up to be my all time favorites. I am actually conflicted about it because I don’t like to be part of the mainstream crowd, but it really is that good o...
.... and attend at least Friday and Saturday Welcome to the forum! / I know almost nothing about the practices on blade show (I'm European), but maybe a proto of an FRN PM2 lw could be possible?? Maybe also a Chap showcasing a new handle material (though my guess is rather not on that one)? Now, si...
The axis lock is far inferior to the compression lock in longevity and intuitive operation. Those omega springs are made of a very thin gauge wire and WIll eventually break.
They seriously need to up the number when they do these runs. It’s ridiculous that they sell out so fast It's easier said than done. Keep in mind that there is a 5-12+ month delay in special projects like this knife. These were ordered the day after the first Tan/Satin knife sold. It took 20 someth...
Hey guys, long time spydie collector and new to the forum. This will be my 4th Blade show, but I can’t remember if Spyderco ever had any special or sprint offerings for show goers. I’ll definitely be looking forward to seeing the protos on display. My highest hopes are for there to be the tanto PM2...

I think FRN actually looks pretty good in person. It may even be more resistant to dings and chips than g10, or it may just be that G10 knives tend to be heavier so they hit harder when they fall. Not sure which, but I will say that I prefer textured g10 in the end.
