The fit and finish is excellent. I would have done the tanto differently if I designed it, but overall, it’s pretty nice.

40 minutes in and not sold out. I wonder if flippers sit back and start sweating when a knife doesn't sell out super fast and start regretting their purchases lol. I hope so. I bought one, and I would take a $10 reduction in future prices just to screw over the weasels who bought them to make money

Well, it's 30 $ more then standard S30V with DLC coating. Is it worth that extra money? Hard to tell. If someone is really sold on tanto blades and loves PM2, I think it's not that much expensive. So it’s dropping soon. $192 from bladehq....kinda steep. I get that the grind is a lot more complicated than the FFG version, but for that price, could we at least get a little variation?? I find it funny that people are excited about S45vn (which is EXTREMELY) similar to s35vn in composition, but complain about s30v. The axis lock is far inferior to the compression lock in longevity and intuitive operation. Those omega springs are made of a very thin gauge wire and WIll eventually break.

Military one thousand times over

I think FRN actually looks pretty good in person. It may even be more resistant to dings and chips than g10, or it may just be that G10 knives tend to be heavier so they hit harder when they fall. Not sure which, but I will say that I prefer textured g10 in the end.

The omega springs on the axis lock are made of a very thin wire gauge. The ball bearing lock will last a lifetime longer than any Benchmade axis lock.
