Re: Future Rex 45 military & paramilitary 2 runs

DLC/ Burnt Orange would be nice. Just to the whole lineup again as a victory lap :)

Re: Sal, Can we get CPM 15v?

I liked Aliens better. So many quotable lines. Alien is still both classic and epic nonetheless. It’s too bad they’ve never been able to do anything else with the franchise, except maybe Covenant.

On topic: where’s our 15v at?

Re: Mirrored stone wash finish love thread

I just picked up an SE Native 5 second hand to try out SE. it’s an older S35VN version and it seems to have a dull mirror finish that I wasn’t expecting. Looks great. Not quite as grey as my Maxamet Native but very nice all the same.

Re: Mirrored stone wash finish love thread

All of the current Maxamet offerings I believe. I have the Native and it’s very nice.

S30V Shaman as well.

Re: Clips you don’t like do not constitute a fatal flaw

I found the standard clip on the fluted CF Native digs in to the edge of my palm a bit so I’m testing it out with a Lynch deep carry clip. I’m not fond of the aesthetic of the clip sticking out past the butt of the knife but neither of these is a fatal flaw IMO and the knife is perfectly functional ...

Has anyone heard anything on possible CQI restocks? Every time I look at this thread I realize that I need one of these in my life.

Re: Best steels for serrations?

I’d like to try Rex45 with teeth. Low carbide volume. Not chippy. Great sharpening response. Seems like it would be a winner. Sal mentioned testing K390, Rex45 seems like a gimme.

Re: Pochi anticipation thread

I think the flipper tab will hit a lever on the tail as it moves through the handle, so the blade and tail will flip out at the same time. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for the tail to engage with the tang and be held in place while the blade is open. That’s my best guess anyways. Looks super...

Re: Want to go to the big leagues....Manix 2 XL or Military

The one issue I have with the Resilience is that it either has a large amount of side to side blade play or the centering is off. I have three of them and they’re great beaters, but at the same time they do feel like budget versions of a great design. I’ve tried everything I can think of and I can’t...

If SE is an option you are interested in, the SE leaf Caribbean is in stock at Blades Canada.

I have been holding off on the Caribbean since first hearing about the possibility of the XL. I would absolutely be on board for one!
