Re: Form vs. Function

I voted both but function wins overall. This is a great thing for me with most Spyderco knives - I get both. Not everyone is into the look but I love the appearance of the Spydie hole. The PM2 has sexy curves that also work as great ergos and the blade shape works for just about everything I need. K...

Anyone heard from BHQ pre-orders yet? I'm still waiting for info on my pre order.
Mine has shipped. Looking forward to getting this one. I'm not a big fan of the G-10 version but the LW version is like a completely different knife. Can't wait to check out SPY27.

Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

Got mine a few days ago. It is beautiful and fits my hand perfectly. No issues and the grind is excellent. The XL is even better than the regular Manix 2 for me. Kind of wish I picked up the DLC version too. This will likely get more use and pocket time than my Cruwear Manix 2. Might throw a deep po...

Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

I figured the DLC would go fast since this is M4 and it looks so good.

I wanted to get the 6.5" Utility Knife to go with the 4.5" for our kitchen anyways. This is a bonus.

Re: Who's gonna get a Counter Puppy?

I really like my Z-cuts and 4.5" Utility Knife. They get used for the majority of our kitchen needs. I'm going to pass on the Counter Puppy. It is too small and I'm not digging the 7Cr steel.

BHQ has their marketing and exclusive niche absolutely down. I just wish that they didn't charge sales tax to my state.
Thats not BHQ's fault..that is your states fault.
You can blame the outcome of South Dakota v. Wayfair for taxes on out of state online purchases.

Of those four options, the Chief. I would definitely carry that and we don't have an exclusive or sprint of that model yet.

Preordered the Para3 LW in SPY27. I'll probably try for the Chief or Shaman in REX45.

Re: Spyderco Value Knives

The Tenacious, Persistence, etc. are great value folders. The Tenacious was my first Spyderco and it still sees some use. I will probably hand it down to my oldest son soon. 8Cr13Mov is a good, effective steel for normal use and is easy to sharpen. The Bow River is a must, as others have stated. The...
