Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
Received my Siren today. Awesome fit and finish. I’m really amazed at how grippy the scales are. Can’t wait to take it fishing once all the beaches reopen. I liked it so much I immediately went online and ordered a second one. Nice job Lance and Spyderco!

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
Are these being rolled out soon? My annual trip to the beach house is coming up and every year I spend at least a week fishing for reds all day every day. It is bliss. And I need this knife to do it. :D Just saw some available at Knifecenter. Can’t wait to finally get a Siren. Hope more are in stoc...

I too am hoping to see another run of the Ikuchi this year. This is a model that at first I overlooked. Now I can’t wait to get my hands on one. LOL.

Awesome. LC200N has really surprised me. It is the perfect balance between rust resistant, toughness, edge retention. IMO.

Re: S30v
S30v works fine for my daily EDC carry. I think people get to hung up on knife steels. If you look at most pictures people upload of their daily knife, they look new and hardly used a lot of the times. Most people ( myself included) do not do hard work with knives that often. This is just my opinion...

Re: The backup that helps you sleep at night... ;)
I have a backup for a few of the sprint run para 3 and Spydiechef. I plan on buying a back up Caribbean leaf plain edge just incase they are discontinued.

Re: EDC, or rotation?
I rotate my EDC. Living in Florida and being a avid saltwater/ freshwater fisherman the Spydiechef and Caribbean get carried the most. I love not having to worry about rust while I’m up to waist in Saltwater. So far they both have been excellent.

Re: Caribbean vs Military
My choice is the Caribbean. The Caribbean is a knife I was very hesitant to purchase because of the scales. I have since purchased the leaf and sheepsfoot plain edge versions and have come to like the funky scales. It gets my vote!

Re: Caribbean vs Native 5 Salt
I would choose the Caribbean. I owe both the sheepsfoot and leaf plain edge. Great large working folders.
