Re: My Next Spyderco??

Maybe it's just because I live and work on the water every day, but not seeing a H1 Salt listed anywhere blew my mind! You need at least one!
The Atlantic SE with the Sheepsfoot is a great all around emergency knife and the Pacific PE is a beauty to EDC. Take a look for yourself!

I work here and everyone knows who I am.

sal

This is the best thing I've ever read on this forum.
Same.
I concur! I saw a lot of people quoting Sal in their signatures and felt that this was the perfect one for mine. Newbie here and that's the gem I get? I can't pass that up...

Re: Caribbean salt is getting sticky and showing rust

https://i.imgur.com/QuNWnwm.jpg https://i.imgur.com/pppu9y4.jpg I saw a lot of rusting around the stop pin and liners like that on my DLC Para 2 that I exposed to a lot of salty sweat carrying IWB during the summer. It's weird that the pictures show up when you quote them, but not on the post itsel...

Re: Caribbean salt is getting sticky and showing rust

This is why I love this community! The response to this has been incredible :) I will definitely put it in the mail for you guys today (it's coming from a sailboat in Hawaii so it might take a bit). I did not post photos before because I couldn't figure it out on the fly via mobile on my first post,...

Caribbean salt is getting sticky and showing rust

This is my first post here (long time lurker) and I hate that it comes with a complaint, but I knew this community were the folks to ask. I work on a boat everyday and have religiously carried a smattering of H1 salts. When I saw the sheepsfoot PE Caribbean, I knew I was in love. The LC200N promised...

Re: Hawkbill vs. sheepsfoot for rescue and personal safety on a sailboat

Hey, it was worth a try!
I found both a spyderco wharnie and hawksbill to boot.
I'll keep one on me and the other handy until I decide which one to keep where (on the boat or on my person)

Re: Hawkbill vs. sheepsfoot for rescue and personal safety on a sailboat

For versatility, I EDC a other brand knife in pocket as it simply has more dohickeys to play with. The low profile Marlin spike/shackle key is simply the bees knees for opening coconuts to drink from. I live aboard full time. K What is the other brand you EDC on your vessel, if you don't mind my as...
