Re: Show off your Natives.

Does anyone have an MXG deep carry clip on their Native FRN? What are your experiences?

Re: Pac salt green frn lc200n shipping to dealers!

Yes, usually from European online dealers like the ones you mentioned (also knivesandtools and lately I discovered com2you-biwak.de. A smaller, but imho very good store. Perhaps a tad higher prices, but one can reliably PREorder sprints there for example) - since there are no brick and mortar store...

Re: Pac salt green frn lc200n shipping to dealers!

Man, seeing you posting here, for a moment I hoped the ffg Pac Salt would have hit European stores... But no, actually we haven't even seen the Rock Jumper yet, let alone the new Pac Salt... :o Where do you buy knives from Wartstein? Coutellerie Tourangelle? Lamnia? Why not just order fr...

Re: Native 6: expectations thread

Bad ideas all around. DO NOT thin the Native. DO NOT remove the front finger choil. The combination of strength, concealability, and cutting ability is rare. If you dont like the way the Native is, use another Spyderco. Use the Rock Jumper. Ok, disregard the finger choil thing. But you can't tell m...

No interest in a 204p and smooth g10 native? That would be in insta buy for me.
Linered (or linerless) G10 Chaparral.
This would be hot.

Re: Native 6: expectations thread

Another vote for only rounding the corners I also agree whith that. From what I've seen during dissasembly of my FRN model, even the rounding of edges would require reengineering, because the backlock shaft is not screwed in, but rather plugged into the FRN. If you would round the edges more than n...

Native 6: expectations thread

Since search turns 0 results when searching for "Native", and I see no threads on the first 10 pages, decided to create a new thread. If anyone knows of a smiliar thread, please link. After carrying the LC200N Native for quite a while now, and for the past week a Delica, I notice that Native just fi...

Re: Endela-thread

Can someone tell me whether the clip from Delica 4 is interchangeable with Endela?

Not sure if they match length wise.

Re: Any interest in the return of models like the pingo?

Pingo is a great little knife for office carry, it's not threatening, deep carry clip makes it invisible + the modified sheepsfot blade is great for opening tape on boxes. If there were an updated version, I'm hoping for at least twice as slim width of the blade. The existing one is just brutally th...

Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native

Which is better, Delica or Native, wholly depends on personal preferences. For me, the Delica wins every time. It’s simply more comfortable in MY hand. And my hands are medium-sized, not small. Personal preference depends on a lot of factors. I really gave the Native a chance (both G10 and LWT vers...

Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native

After handling Delica for a couple of days, I must say that Native is more comfortable in the hand. If you carry your knife tip up like me, you will find that Natives clip naturally slides between your finger, unlike Delicas, which forces your finger right on the peak of handle contouring, making it...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

If you haven't already, try the sharpie trick. Mark the entire edge (both sides), so you can see where the stone is making contact. If you had no results trying to remove the burr, you probably weren't hitting it. The white stone should work well enough on VG10, for removing a burr. You could use t...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

Guys, I need your help. My new VG10 Delica arrived with somewhat toothy factory edge (I see it in the light) , and I can feel the burr on one side of the edge. Passed it a couple of times on fine Sharpmaker rods on 30 degrees, but nothing happened. I remember Sals video where he says to use 40 degr...

Re: Need advice! Freehand or Guided System

Hey everybody I would really appreciate any advice y’all have for me. I just got a few new Spyderco knives one in Rex 45 and a K390 and I’ll be looking to get a maxamet soon. Currently I have Chosera whetstones but I’m looking to get a new set of stones probably diamond, looking mainly at Venev’s. ...

Clips - stainless vs titanium

I've been scrolling through materials comparison this evening, as I've bought an MXG Gear deep carry titanium clip for my Delica. Comparing steinless steel to titanium, I've always considered titanium to be a better metal in all areas, without even checking (must be all those action movies :D). So t...
