Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Great shots Filoso and Vivi! πŸ‘

I'm sure I'm just going through a phase, but my folders have had less pocket time the last month or two. Though I wish the ARK had NBA, a wharncliffe option, and a longer handle, it's been a capable standalone knife.

I just finished building it...
Thanks for the rundown. I've been interested in these electric kits/ebikes since seeing them over ten years ago, just haven't tried one yet.

When it matches the bike I pretty much have to carry it if I go for a ride. Although I guess any of the bhq exclusives would work as well.

Super cool :cheap-sunglasses

How do you ride that beast? Trails? Commute?
I'd love to try a fat bike someday. Is that an electric kit or DIY?

Haha yeah, just the thought of scraping metal with a nice sharp edge. Not judging! I'm sure it works and ends well when done correctly. πŸ‘

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

Gave my throwers new high-viz- "find-me" tape. Used the Manix to scrape of the old tape and gunk off the blades and cut the new tape in shape. Sharp Rex 45 blade scraping on metal: No prob. Really good stuff. Just thinking about this makes me shudder and cringe a bit, but glad it works fi...

Native 5 Salt LC200N

Nice pic of great model! πŸ‘
My N5S has been a great performer.
I was a little surprised to see it corrode after contact with sulfuric acid, but it's been fine in water while swimming and kayaking.

26Β°F here in Kansas this morning :beaming-face
Beautiful frosty morning by the water with the ARK.
Great shot! Perfect timing too, I'm sure that frost wasn't around too much longer.

Thanks! πŸ™‚
Yeah, it's supposed to get up in the high 50s today, so it'll be gone soon.

Re: Your 2021 Spyderco Knife of the Year !

I bought two this year: Q Ball and Native Salt. My knife-of-the-year award goes to the Native Salt. Not my first Native, but my only current one. Great ergos, solid build, and it's a Salt. It's generous choil provides a large grip area and a shorter edge length for precision cutting. Natives and oth...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

ARK had kitchen duty for my kids' meals today. Cut lots of blueberries, strawberries, and some homemade pizza πŸ™‚. That’s a very important job! I use mine for the same thing quite often! Can’t believe what a handy little knife it is! It really is a convenient and capable knife πŸ™‚ Pretty sure I posted ...
