AWESOME. Both the edges ... and the pictures. How do you manage to post pictures of that size?
Thanks!

To post large photos, instead of using the built in forum option, use an image hosting site like imgur.com then copy and paste the BBcode link into the post.

Re: Mirror polished edges - Which steels are better (and worst) for taking them?

I like clean push cutting blades so I've taken a good number of steels to a polished edge. Surprisingly I've found Maxamet and PMA 11 (similar to 10V) take great polished edges. https://i.imgur.com/DEUaypA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Sy5Zzf5.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Wq73LLG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vAxxUG...

I don't wear a suit often, hell I don't even wear long pants more than a few times a year but when I do the Urban seems to be what ends up with me...

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

Any tips for reprofiling all the way to the tip on the sharpmker and still keeping it pointy? Freehand, I have a bad habit of sharpening holding the stone michael Christy style (I learned on 1x6 dmt stones, and old habits die hard) and I'm either getting frustrated and making a bevel too steep (I c...

For those of you who did the scale swap on the Watu, was that particularly difficult? Any tips in general? Thanks again.
The Watu is as simple as it gets for the reason Spydergirl88 mentioned, just swap one side at a time, no need to fully disassemble.

Re: Mcbee after carry?

I keep mine on the kitchen counter and mostly use it as a fancy box opener and to cut shipping labels to size. I rarely carry it out of the house. The build quality is excellent however practically speaking any small wharncliffe does everything the McBee does but in a lighter package. Here's a few p...

That's another great pic in the unique "Rick-industrial-style"! ;)
Especiially like the color-vombination.
I agree! All of your knives look great with the blue and rust backgrounds.

I wear a t-shirt and shorts 99.9% of the time so IWB is convenient and doesn't take up any of my limited pocket space.

Re: Fake UF sm rods???

You may want to try something less abrasive than the Atoma 600 for regular cleaning. I personally use the Idahone Superaser Fibrous Cleaning Blocks to clean my ceramic Sharpmaker stones before each use.

I don't care what color the blade is just give us Wharncliffe Delicas in new 'fancy' steels!

Re: Heine Heines Exlusive UKPK delayed... Again.

Yeah. It is super annoying. I placed an order for this in 2019, and finally messaged HH in in April, to find out what was going on. They replied saying should be June 2020. I thought that it was a fairly weak effort on their behalf no to be more upfront, and told them so. It feels like I have waite...
