Re: can’t get enuff lc200n

I actually have the leaf in the mail right now! Though I havent been able to find much on it as far as reviews and such, it doesnt seem very popular but it's been around for a good while so the numbers must be there to keep them around. Kind of the story with a lot of spyderco's fixed blades. Itll ...

Re: More Edge Retention Testing - Rex 45, Maxamet, SPY27, XHP, CPM-T15, 420, Rex 76

Just went back to the brutal BBB video on YouTube comparing the edge toughness of those rex 45 and m4 para 3's against that brass rod. Was the only thing that saved the rex 45 hardness? The m4 rolled over like crazy. I guess that supports a toughness argument for the m4 but in such a crazy test I wo...

Love almost everything about this knife, the only thing that concerns me is lack of ricasso. I generally drop it on my finger when one hand closing backlocks. I see some subconscious finger choppy in my future.

Re: can’t get enuff lc200n

i don’t think there have been any seki knives in lc200n. i’m not sure what it would take to make that happen, so maybe it’s cost-prohibitive. let us know how you like your enuff. there’s definitely a lack of info/reviews out there and every little bit helps. honestly, vg10 is probably a good steel ...

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Nice. Had a feeling this would happen. Well you were 100% right. I kind of royally screwed up. I'd like to apologize for making assumptions that were incorrect. I would also be honored to re-judge if that's cool with everyone! I've learned a lesson from this in that I will make sure to check how ac...

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Okay, apologies, I can see what you mean with the moderator stuff, though that isnt what you said, i didn't even consider that. but who wants to win and get the opportunity to judge just to have someone win by default? And who would want to win without competition? When I was "complaining"...

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Congrats to the winners. I read alot of complaints about thos thread being slow to get to the point. It's going to go even slower when you pick a winner who only has 5 over all posts on the forum. Food for thought. Hey GiftedMisfit, I appreciate your thoughts/concerns but the reason behind the pace...

I know. Hahaha! I really almost called it last week but there were only like 3 pics. Totally ready to pass it on! Love this thread but it's almost more fun to participate than to judge!

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

BUMP! So it's looking like we are going to have to end up running another week before deciding again! Very nice shot mushroom, but I dont think you want to win by default! Lol! I've always loved the look of that raffir noble and that's an excellent example of the pattern! So bust out those photogeni...
