I wonder if this will sort of feel like a stainless cruwear. Sharpens up to a nice razor edge easily. Maintains that high level of sharpness a little better than high vanadium steels like s110v and even s30v and it could address the constant complaints of burnt chippy edges from the factory with th...

Re: Production LC200N
That's interesting. I just can't bring myself to buy a serrated blade for some reason. But the reason I always thought lc200n was about the same as s30v in regards to edge retention is because of all the testers on YouTube. Steve and Pete both got very good results with lc200n cutting cardboard and ...

Re: Production LC200N
Thanks for all the feedback from everyone. Especially you Sal. I didnt know it had actually been around longer. For me personally I would not mind the switch. But I also wouldn't mind not switching and just seeing more lc200n options in the game. Especially with golden models which seems to be the p...

Production LC200N
This may have already been discussed. But I dont have time to look through all the posts so here we go. For many years spyderco made different models in the SALT series of knives. For people who needed a rust proof knife. We all know this. Unfortunately for many years steels were usually a trade bet...

Re: Make the Manix 2 LW XHP regular production
This would be my first choice as far as spyderco production models if it ever happened. It's such a great knife. And xhp is the best steel out there in my opinion. My first choice would be a red handle in xhp then maybe the chapparal grey. But I'd be ok with about any color as long as it had xhp. Lc...

Re: Make the Manix 2 LW XHP regular production
Can we please make this happen lol. Or at the very least do another sprint run of the xhp manix. I have a s110v manix 2 lw but xhp would be the perfect edc in my eyes. Such a great steel. Holds an edge for a long time but it's not chippy and it easily strops back to shaving sharp.

Re: Lc200n Manix 2 LW Interest Poll
I'd love to see the industry move away from back locks all together really and I think we see that happening more and more now. Not to many knife companies left that even use them anymore. They're just not appealing to me personally. I know some people like them. Although I can't understand for the...

Re: Casual Sage 5 Lightweight reveal
I don't understand why anyone would prefer a backlock when there are so many better options available now days. The lockback knives should be extinct. They're difficult to use. Hurt your fingers especially on the chap because it's so thin. And they're just old and outdated and theres really no reas...

Re: Lc200n Manix 2 LW Interest Poll
I love the idea of a manix 2 lw salt with lc200n. Though I pray they dont get rid of the CBBL. I dont see how anyone thinks its difficult to use. I think it's one of the easiest locks spyderco makes to use. Very fast easy deployment and retraction with the cbbl. And the blade just drops shut on my m...

Re: Casual Sage 5 Lightweight reveal
As excited as I am for the Para 3 lightweight, I'm even more so for a Sage 5 lightweight. I hope this thing makes it to production! For Eric to have it in pocket, it means they have to have spent the money on the molds for the FRN handles. That pretty much guarantees that we'll see it at some point...

Re: Casual Sage 5 Lightweight reveal
I can definately appreciate that some people like it. And I understand why they use it. I just am not a fan. I dont mind an extra ounce of weight or maybe a little more that liners will add. I carry a manix every day. The g10 version so I dont mind the weight. In the summer in shorts I carry my sage...

Re: Casual Sage 5 Lightweight reveal
Would love to see a lightweight back lock for stay closed bias. I'd love to see this as well. The Chaparral LW proved how thin and light it can be. PM2 LW Backlock would be my personal dream. I don't understand why anyone would prefer a backlock when there are so many better options available now d...
