Strider uses PD-1 pretty regularly in both fixed and folders (production and custom applications). I haven't seen any griping about the steel in that community. Personally, I don't love my PD-1 Strider (bad ergos for my hands), so haven't used it enough to have any thoughts. I'm on team stonewashed ...
