Same here. Got a really bad micarta pm2. Very disappointed because it was my first real made in US Spyderco.

Sounds like either be content with the budget knives like the first one you've had for years, or take that next step above and dabble into knives known for higher quality/tolerances/etc. Granted those are certainly more expensive, and if they don't meet your criteria...maybe time for a different ho...

National Knives just reached out and basically said what most of you are saying. That I’m being too picky. I disagree. But they said they will either exchange it or refund it.I haven’t decided yet.

You can't go trashing National Knives. They have a very good reputation around here. I highly doubt they purposely selected a knife with defects and then sold it at the sale price.
