Re: Swick, some news?
I hear tell that a legendary Swick was seen crossing a remote highway near Golden, Colorado recently. They are sending out a crack team of jackalope, Sasquatch, and unicorn hunters to track 'em down. Stay tuned, as we could hear something as soon as the next commercial break. Don't touch that dial!

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Big thanks to J D Spydo for not shutting up.
hands down my favorite Spyderco. Great tac design, excellent quality that keeps us coming back to Spyderco.
Kudos to all who were involved in this campaign.

Re: Swick 5 ETA?
Well, it's been a month since the last sheath update. I take it the 50 sheaths didn't pass QC? Any update I got the patience of a 3 year old? I'm laid off right now because of the micro chip shortage. I'd be glad to crank some Boltaron out on the Kydex press in the basement, if ya think it would help.

Re: Spyderco 2021 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Noticed KnifeCenter.com's email this evening claims to have light weight Tenacious "In Stock," yet it is still 38th on the Upcoming list. ???

Re: Waterway Availability
Ordered Waterway on Friday from Sooner State Knives, received email shipping notification/tracking on Saturday, and received Waterway via USPS on Monday. The knife appears to be genuine Spyderco, Golden, Colorado quality/fit/finish all seem to be there. It ghost prints (hazy, translucent finger prin...

Re: Waterway Availability
I was able to order a Waterway from Sooner State Knives today, 05/14/2021. I had one on order with KnifeCenter.com, but said "delayed by manufacture." As, there was no indication if and when they would be available, I went ahead and ordered from Sooner (better than, later). I do not know i...

Re: Spyderco Hatchet
Thanks again, Ookami. I have printed out your instructions for maintaining edge/sharpening for future reference. All makes sense. I also came across this web pg from Tim Manney, Chairmaker, that seems a good reference if it ever gets to the point where i have to re-profile concave edge: http://timma...

Re: Spyderco Hatchet
Thanks Ookami, I will check out the thread. One more thing: How do you maintain the edge? I usually use a axe puck sharpener on my convex edged axes/hatchets, but I've never owned a carving axe (vee grind), so I am unfamiliar with sharpening technique for the concave grind side of head. Nice spoons!...

Re: Spyderco Hatchet
Thanks Dirt, I found Mr. Oookami's post on pg. 3, I believe, that answered some of my questions. Love this hatchet! I have only used it one time, and noted while splitting wood, that it was producing uniform oak planks I could have ran thru a planner, and hung as shelves. Don't know if it was a frea...

Re: Spyderco Hatchet
I was hoping someone could provide me with more info on HatchetHawk's unique concave/convex edge. 1. Has this edge been done before? 2. Is there somewhere I can find the designer talking about the theory/concept/use of this 'hawk? 3. If this has been discussed before, could you point me to a link? T...
