Re: Police 4 K390 LW is shipping to dealers

Yep I did the same - just grabbed one from the factory outlet with OpFocus. Added a Roadie to get free shipping :)

Re: Pattadese anticipation thread

I really hope that the release of the Pattadese results in a Sprint of the Pattada in M390. That wld be such an amazing knife and cool to have a big little brother pair :)

Just from a practical/legal standpoint, I'd probably bring my Pingo. While not my absolute favorite, it's the one that's least likely to get you in legal trouble during your journeys.

Re: Spy27 PM2 LW

I would definitely grab a PM2 LW. I have a SS Stretch, and while it’s a great knife it is a bit heavy for a LW model IMHO. Currently I carry a Goddard LW as it gets me a similar blade length in a linerless LW format. So yeah I’m all for the PW2 LW. Good to hear it’s already in the works.

I am definitely grabbing one of these. I love FRN and K390. I haven’t owned a Caly3.5 before so I’m excited to try it out.

Re: Spyder Classics: The C-54 Calypso ( the big one)

This is one of my favorite Spyderco designs and I've always been confused why it didn't sell better. I ended up parting ways with my brown G10 sprint due to the pinned construction. I'll deal with pins on a slipjoint or a salt, but not on a modern folder with full steel liners that will eventually ...

Re: Seconds & used sale - a perspective

I really appreciate the opportunity to get in on the seconds sale this year. I walked away with a beautiful Yojimbo for an amazing price. I was a bit frustrated on the first day but all ended well and I want to thank your team for all their hard work!

Re: How Do Your Factory Seconds Look?

I just got my Yojimbo 2 today and to be honest I’ve yet to find anything that I think would make it a second. It looks perfect as far as I can tell. There’s a tiny scratch at the very base of the blade adjacent to the handle but it’s barely noticeable. That’s some amazing QC if that makes it a secon...

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. It is just so strange - it's not like he was carrying the knife. It was still in it's zipper pouch. It's in his house somewhere. Just a matter of time. Mostly I just feel bad for my dad bc I know how embarrassed he is.

A 2020 Spyderco story

So my father is getting up there in age and has some memory issues these days. He was so kind and bought me a Swayback for the holidays. And now he can't find it :( We've basically turned his house upside down for two days but no luck. Who knows what he did with it. I just feel so bad for him becaus...
