Hi Sal, any new updates on the release of the Swick 5/6? I’m really looking forward to this one, for both my own personal carry and one for my wife. I love you guys kept the ladies in mind with this design and will rest a bit easier knowing she has one on her!

I get excited for a lot of knives from Spyderco, but this is one that I am not only excited for but will carry daily. I've long thought about what a perfect small EDC fixed blade would be for me, and the new Swick 5 checks most of the boxes. And though I am okay with S30V, I never pulled the trigger...

Gundamaniac, I seem to recall you stating you had hoped to have the Amalgam in M390 or something comparable? I suspect this model will be popular enough to warrant an Exclusive or Sprint, or at least I hope. I am perfectly happy with S30V though at any rate. It is a great steel, just not the flavor ...

I've been imagining my grail knife for a few years now. The PM2 is close, as is the Manix 2, but they both lacked some things I desire. I imagined a Manix 2 with a compression lock, a more sturdy tip, and a flipper. Voila! That is pretty much the Amalgam. I think this will be "the" folding...
