I would not even post a political anything, even one like you have above; if we're me... You need to hit the brakes quicker and harder lol.
Ah it's all good. Not like it was coarse language or something.
I'll be back buying my favorite knife brand soon enough

Re: Manix 2 XL - 15v

I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
It's my favorite model. I'd prefer a non coated blade as I like my steel naked but I wouldn't turn down a coated blade if that was offered! Come on spyderco! Make it happen!!

Re: Blade Choice for a Spyderco Paramilitary 2: CPM-S30V vs CPM-S110V?

I like S110V. With the right abrasives (diamond or CBN) and good skills, it's much less difficult to sharpen than the internet makes it out, at least to me. It can do well thin, but it depends much on how you use a knife. If you're the kind that's "hard on everything" it's probably not the best ...

Ummm. Stick with the endura!
I like the endela but the endura just fits me better.
If I was gonna push one though I'd have to say get an eldela wharncliffe k390.
I have the endura wharncliffe and it's great

Re: Help me defend "super steel" again

Different strokes for different folks. I like carbon in the field but love my "super steels" for daily carry. No one needs to defend or champion anything in my eyes. Just different preferences.

Agreed. If I may ask is the reason why you prefer carbon steel over the super steel in some uses is ...

Re: What's the one you keep going back to?

Stretch2 xl serrated. Daily for work for about 8 months. It's a lightweight pocket saw and has done very well on construction sites. My boss was amazed how fast and easy it cuts plastic banding on lifts of lumber. The frn sticks in my pocket much better than g10 too. Darn good knife

Re: Spyderco Native Chief Lightweight CPM-S110V Satin Plain Blade, Dark Blue FRN

Very cool. I like s110 too

Larrin likes S90V and S110V for edge wear.

I think that I have 3 - S90V Native Chiefs. This will be my first S110V Native Chief. Just had to have one, and may buy a few of them. I am looking forward to the CruWear release, going to have to get 3 of those too ...

Welcome to the forum!
Go with the 15v if you can get it.
Magnacut is everywhere and in everything. Kinda killed the allure of that steel for me even though it's very good.
It's become the "beard and sleeve tattoo" of steel. Everyone has it
