Re: What "others" are in the mail?

I only wish. And I thought I don't like tantos. https://i.imgur.com/zHpqton.jpg (it definitely belongs on a Spyderco forum I just didn't know where else to put this. Maybe there should be a thread called "Desirables") If Spyderco and CRK did a collab knife, my head might explode. ;) :D Yes, I think...

Re: Is Sal Glesser Irreplaceable?

I don't like thinking about these things, and usually I don't. Imagine reading something like this about yourself, from people you haven't actually met, even if they are internet friends. Perhaps we could consider it more as how Spyderco would fare IF Sal decides to retire, and enjoy more leisure t...

Darn those CRKs. I wish they would make a better knife. Especially for the amount of money you have to pay for them.
Hahah, well played sir ;)

That new Cannibal Corpse!!!!! I feel so out of place in this thread sometimes 🤣 We're all alone in this thread brother haha! I just heard the newest song out on Liquid Metal on my way home from work. That song Inhumane Harvest made it's way onto my workout playlist. That song gets me going.

Re: spray painting liners?

I don't see why that would be an issue. Maybe dust would cling to them a bit more? I spray painted the backspacer on my Delica to match the lockbar. It's not a perfect match, but close enough for me and cheaper than buying one aftermarket. I don't see why the same can't be done with liners. Interest...

I'd rather see the car ;) 045.JPG Nice!! Looks to be in great shape and well maintained! Great job! 3rd owner, hasn't been rained on since the early eighties! Matching number, complete, and unrestored. Been offered some pretty crazy money for it. I actually work at a large dealership collision cent...

Folks, I am not defending the guy and I don´t know anything about Instagram - but I´d say: Let´s perhaps calm down a bit and look at what actually happened and was posted on instagram (?): - He actually had a Shaman idea (skinny Shaman) - sure, many (among them a man named Sal Glasser ;) ) had that...

If you call yourself a knife geek and you don’t own a Japanese laser then you need to get one. This ain’t even a super expensive knife but it is R2/Super Gold and the grind is crazy thin. I can’t do this with any folder I own.

Re: Benchmade Bugout Omega Spring Failure

I think the comments about over priced for what you get are very funny. You have a solid knife with outstanding warranty and customer service and they charge prices that aren't out of line with other mid-range company prices. People rage about the quality, fit and finish of a CRK. I have one, it is...

Re: Bought my fourth Shaman today...

How do they cut? I love the design but it seems a bit chunky for me. Cut great imo. Heavy duty, but still a slicer. Perfect size too! I may have to add one to the collection once more steel options come around, just one though :D I said the same thing once...and here I am with 3 ;) Even though it's...

Re: Bought my fourth Shaman today...

How do they cut? I love the design but it seems a bit chunky for me. Thats why I haven't bought one. It's fat and seems like it would take up too much pocket. Just a tad wider than a PM2, but takes up less pocket space because the PM2 is actually longer and also has a hump for the thumb ramp, where...

Re: Crazy Deals that are Non Spyderco

For some reason I always thought this knife was sweet, but for a slipjoint $188 was a bit steep. Now on sale for $139, I just might have to jump on it. No need for it, I've just loved the way it looked since it came out. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/WEK902B/we-knife-company-902b-gentry-slipjoin...

Re: Benchmade Bugout Omega Spring Failure

I still like the axis lock. However, like you, I keep only one axis locking knife, the Mini Freek, mainly just to fondle and remind myself why I prefer other designs. Same here, I've only got one BM because I felt like I couldn't be a "knife guy" without at least ONE in my collection. I've got the ...
