Re: Please share your experience with SPY27
Personally, I think it's in the top 3 knife steels on the market for folders. I've had every "super steel" except Magnacut so I can't compare it to that. In my use as a forester, SPY27 doesn't chip, it holds an edge for an extremely long time, is very rust resistant, & I can strop it b...

Re: St. Nicks 4V Military 1
Had one in REX45 and sold it and have regretted it ever since. Pumped about getting one back in the stable, especially if this is the last/one of the last OG Millies we'll see.

Zero interest in Magnacut. Cruwear is king imo. SPY27 is not far behind. Have put both those steels through the ringer in the woods as a forester and they've proven to come out on top when it matters. I don't believe in the hype ^.

Re: KnifeCenter Manix 2 XL Cruwear/Smooth G10
Ordered. I'm a Cruwear believer and I believe this will be the end-all/be-all knife for me. I love the smooth G10 KC exclusives, so this works out perfectly.

Re: Native 5 salt is Magnacut?
I’m really trying to hold out for a MagnaCut N5, but may succumb to a SPY27. Wish I’d jumped on the smooth G10/cruwear version... Having owned a PM2, Manix 2, Para 3, & native 5 in Cruwear, get the SPY-27 along with the Cruwear models. I realize my signature but if all I had was SPY-27 from her...

Re: DLC CRUWEAR Manix with Smooth Black G-10 Knifecenter Exclusive
I was about to order and saw the coated blade, which I'm not a big fan of. I had the satin version and that was hands down my favorite knife I've ever owned. I sold it and regret it every day. Hoping it makes a come back after this one!

Re: "Late lockup" on a cbbl?
The cbbl on my new cruwear Manix sits significantly lower in the cutout than on my other Manixes when the blade is open. Like the ball bearing isn't seating as far up the tang of the blade as usual. Maybe the spring is shorter or more compressed. Without taking it apart it's tough to see if this wo...

Re: DLT Manix 2 Purple G-10 CPM Cru-Wear
i'm guessing the manix just isn't as popular a design, so it didn't sell out as fast or have as much traffic.
I saw a YT review where they picked the Para 3 up in this configuration after 20 minutes from the release at DLT; so same time frame as this release. I think a lot of peopl...

Re: Me New Motto Mates!
You're right, it is intentional. I don't understand why people don't realize that not everyone gets an exclusive/sprint; only so many are made = not everyone gets one. I missed every single Rex-45 sprint yet I didn't complain because that's life. Do people not realize that Spyderco is literally the ...
The other drops are done much smoother. Be online at the drop time and try to get yours. Let's reiterate what happened with the TKJ drop. 1.) Some preorder's were sent out in invoices to emails via his Instagram chat. This was before the preorder was "live" to the rest of the worl...

Re: Sprints
It is amazing how many people complain about not getting a hold of sprints/exclusives. That's literally a part of the design of sprints/exclusives; not everyone gets one. I didn't get any of the Rex-45 sprints or any of the M390 DLT exclusives, even though I tried, yet I'm not moaning and crying. I ...

Re: Sprints
One thing I don't believe anyone has mentioned is the upfront cost to Spyderco, in both $$$ and time, if they were to double or triple their sprint run numbers. I missed out on all the previous Rex-45 variants but I'm not upset because Spyderco churns out sprints and exclusives like crazy and now lo...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45
Concerning the scales, I really wish U.S. manufacturers would look to the U.S. Timber industry. Rosewood is a broad statement of foreign products so no one really knows what tree species it really came from or from what country. The U.S. contains the most desired hardwood timber species on the plan...

Re: Manix 2 Cruwear Smooth G10
Mine just arrived and it's just as one would expect, perfection! This is my first Manix 2 and I was surprised by how buttery smooth the action is; can do the spydy-flick easily. I like the smooth G10 scales on the Manix 2 more than I did on the PM2.

Re: Cruwear Micarta Native follow up to the Shaman??
A Cruwear Native following the Shaman would be awesome and I would purchase them both, preferably in G10, which I believe is superior in every way to micarta.
