Re: Community Sharpening Journal

Vivi you're a sharpening mad scientist, man. I bought the Xtra coarse DMT stone a few weeks ago because of your video and now I happened to have that Harbor Freight 4 sided sharpener laying around. Did one knife with 300 and another with 400 and they're both screaming sharp! They were S35VN and 154c...

Re: FRN/Lightweights: I just can’t get into them

I love both FRN and G10 Spydercos. It usually comes down to the blade shape and color whether I'll buy it or not. I know no matter what I'm getting it's going to be of good quality. I can certainly understand how Albatross said the Para 3 LW felt like a toy to him. I'll never understand the "it feel...

Re: Dragonfly & Manbug K390

A couple things. 1) I love that the Dragonfly can fully patina now. 2) You'll be hard pressed to find another little knife as tough as this one now that it has K390. Did a handle swap with the Emerson opener d'fly and added a choil. I've been putting it to use as you can tell. :D Polish-20200920-012...

I was waiting on a new Jester to pick up my first Spyderco keychain sized knives, but the TiCN Manbug Wharnies changed all of that so now I'll definitely be grabbing a few of these.
I was waiting on a Jester too, but no longer!

Wharncliffe Manbugs

Who's excited about these? Nothing will beat a box cutter for breaking down boxes, but I feel like these will be pretty close. The all black version will be a day one purchase for me.

Re: My Calypso Jr.'s

I absolutely love the ergos of the Caly Jr. even better than the Delica's. As you can see, I've carried mine a time or 2. Added some jumping to the spine too.

Re: Best "work knives"?

I'm hoping for a SE Dragonfly
Wharny. I feel like that will be a perfect work knife. Once I get a k390 D'fly, that'll be my go to work knife.

This is the "clear" and zoomed out version of my calender submission. You can see the Crucible sign in the middle of the Spyder hole on this Lil' Native CPM Rex 45. It's unreal how near you are to the place where most of our knife steels are are born! I was pretty excited once I saw him posting her...

Re: 2021 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

The building in the background is Crucible and In the center of the Spyder hole is the front sign at Crucible. I blurred it out for looks and copyright purposes. Nice picture! It might be worth asking Kristi about whether or not an exception could be made for the Crucible logo. It would seem a bit ...
