Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread

Email notification from GP Knives worked great. I had just pulled my phone out and got the email. I was able to snag one.

Re: DragonFly II in K390

I'm definitely going to get a couple. One is going to be made into a wharncliffe. I like the FRN Spyderco puts out.

Re: Show your mods!

Jazz how did you do that mod? I used a Dremel tool with a reinforced cut off wheel, diamond bits, a sanding bit, and a diamond disk for the top. Dipped in water to not ruin the heat treat. For the edge, I cut some with the reinforced wheel, diamond bits, and diamond disk. Various sandpapers and a s...

Modded a regular Endura. Blade is same length as Endela. I think the Endela would be a fine candidate for a wharnie blade. Not quite this shape though, but it’s what I had to work with.

I found a nice one a while back when I googled for it. It was a regrind done by Razor Edge Let me see if I can figure out how to post a link to the image. Here you go: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/the-“can’t-leave-anything-alone”-thread.1660973/ About halfway down the first page. You beat me...

Re: Cru-wear Delica

I will offer this up about my experience with Country Knives, while yes, one can complain all day about the fact that they charge the full MSRP, they are a real brick and mortar shop, keeping the number of knives they have on hand is a huge investment monetarily, but I would say most importantly, t...

Re: SE performance is more than simply teeth vs no teeth.

The SE Dragonfly Salt sold me too. I'm hoping we see a SE wharnie Dragonfly in vg-10 or h1 salt. Is this a possibility Sal? I am 100% on board with this. In fact I've been holding out on getting a wharnie Dragonfly for this exact reason. Fingers crossed. I would be totally fine with FFG/LC200N thou...

Re: I've got a Dragonfly problem

You guys are making the wait up here worse. Does the wharnie feel right on the Dfly? Sure looks good. It feels better than right. I personally feel this is the best iteration of the wharncliffe frn Spydercos. I've been using it all day cutting strapping, cardboard, plastic wrap etc...Just feels goo...

For those of you wondering if you can swap the wharny blade with other FRN D'Flys! No need to switch lockbars either.

Re: Where is the Urban Coyote?

I'm hoping to have it as my travel knife before I head off to the land of blade restrictions on July 12th. :) Yeah I’m headed for upstate NY after the 4th myself! Glad gravity knife nonsense has been repealed, but I still don’t want to carry a compression lock knife. As a long time upstate NY resid...

Re: Lil’ Native & Chaparral LW: a user’s test

I've actually been carrying my Superblue Caly Jr. and I love it. I also carried my Lil' Native in dlc and serrations before that and loved it. I have the lightweight Chapparral coming tomorrow so I'll compare the 3 after the Chappy.

This is my first time having Super Blue and I really like it. Do you guys think sharpening at 15 degrees is the best for SB or 20 on the sharpmaker?

It's not ffg but if you can find a 440v Native serrated I would grab it because I love using mine when I do.
