No to the liner lock.They are average at best especially with free swinging blades. Unless you use a blunt or average sharpening on your knife, let's keep hands and fingers out of the blade path. I think the scales make the knife. If I wanted an FRN version, I'd just use my stretch.

I'm looking forward to it. One of my Kapara's is a tweaked version from Alistair. It will be nice to have it closer to the original. He also recommends the Ripp's Garage wire replacement clip to make it as close as possible.

I added to my sharpmaker. I've added a smallish piece of kangaroo leather loaded up with a 5 micron compound . Flip the sharpmaker over when done and you have a flat surface to give you knife a final touch up.
