Love my Hundred Pacer!

I just bought a stonewash DLC knife, only my second black bladed knife......this thing is beautiful. Finish is slightly reflective, not matte black, and very slick to the touch.

I carried this knife today...carries very well for it's size, forgot it was in my pocket. The more I flip it the better it seems to feel..

Ok folks, I’m either off to buy an amalgam tomorrow or I’m not. I could literally go either way here, II’m on the fence and can’t decide. The knife has a lot going for it but something is telling me not to get it. I think it’s the weak detent, but that honestly seems like a silly reason not to try ...

I had a similar experience flipping an Amalgam at the store yesterday. Without the wrist, I wasn’t sure if it locked up (it did). With the wrist, it clearly locked up. Texan42, sorry you had trouble with the detent. What was yours like? Kind of on the topic of detents, I got a 7777 in....that thing is on the other extreme of the detent spectrum. Stiffest detent I've ever felt...I keep slipping off the jimped flipper tab. The thing absolutely snaps open and shakes...

Called and spoke to warranty department today, ill be sending it in next week.
