At least your package has a fun reason. I have a package from Gritomatic in USPS that has been in Denver since Friday of last week. Still hasn't delivered. Says out for delivery, then it goes back to the processing center, then the distribution, then back out for delivery then back to ..... I have no clue what's going on. Especially since another package was delivered mostly normal yesterday from USPS. I really need the angle cube in that package...

That video reminds me of a few years back when the kid was around 4 and we were taking a walk around the campground we were camping at. We came up to a group of geese and she started squawking at them them...apparently that wasn't a good idea because 3 of them started chasing her and hissing at her hahahaa!! Naturally my wife yelled at me to save her so I had to pick her up and run, they still chased us a little ways as I hear my wife with her loud, caught off guard cackle laugh. Ohhhhhh the memories!

I will say, I'm not a fan of the way "sprint" runs get released in general.

I’ve had more than a few opportunities with ample time to purchase. If I had not decided that I don’t want another Manix at the moment, I could’ve purchased about five of these by now. The drops are getting larger but they still sell out quick.

I would recommend setting up your email on your phone, then change the email settings to audibly notify you when you receive a new one, and lastly subscribe to the “15V Manix Alert thread.”

Compared to the CruWear Micarta Shaman or Bombshell, this Manix sprint has been relatively attainable. Good luck to all those still on the hunt! :respect

I had this happen to me earlier this year. No animals at my house. I wonder if postal workers just put that if they can’t or don’t want to deliver to that address that day for some reason.

That is how my experience has been. I have gotten the 2 sprints I have wanted with little issue, including this one. I still do not like the way they release sprint runs though.

Nightmares upon nightmares. I think I want a second one to beat on, I think the manix is my favorite golden factory spyderco right now.

i had the opportunity to get one at one point and i let it go. i still want one, so i've been watching and waiting. it may still happen, but if it doesn't, i'll live.

the problem is all these places only getting a couple at a time. even if they were getting 15 at once and selling out in a few minutes and just being done, it would be better than this two at a time nonsense that's going on, where you have to keep watching the same seller that's already sold out because it might come up again.

it was hard to get my exclusive rec manix, but at least i knew when and where to go for it instead of checking everywhere constantly and hoping that i am fast enough. it's a really terrible way to string customers along.

The turning on email notifications for the Manix Alert Thread has been how I got my two. I managed to get one of the handful of BHQ's first or second drop and have one on the way from whitemountain(thank you Buddafucco).

My usual method of waking up early and checking the usual suspects hasn't panned out for me with this sprint. Lots of mid morning/afternoon drops

Whoever got one from Redhill Cutlery, I emailed to confirm the order and they said good-to-go, should ship Monday or Tuesday. He said they were tracking stock, so no overselling. thanks for the tip on that one Buddafucco!

I don't know how big the Run is but, there are still a lot of places that haven't put any up for sale. And a bunch of places that have put them up will probably put up more. Don't get discouraged.

Pretty much where I am. I got one of these, I have it in my hand, and yet the way sprints go out is most annoying to me. Just send whole balance of knives to the dealer.

I think handling these more like "exclusives" would be slightly better. Spyderco sends all retailers their allotment at once. Sypderco announces a drop date and ALL retailers can go live on that day with the Sprint run. The load will be spread out among websites so no overloading one site hopefully. If the retailer wants to wait, limit how many they sell in a day, etc then that is on them and fine by me.

Also National and BladeHQ have restocked so maybe others will do the same.
