Bring back the original stainless steel Stretch, only replace the Kraton inlays with checkered Dymondwood or something similar. It was the most compact, and to me is still the most pocket friendly, version of the Stretch. Keep it VG-10 and offer it in PE only, as that was the best selling version by far.
As a big Stretch fan I´d love to see this one! I already prefer the Stretch "1" (so the direct predecessor of the current Stretch "2") over the Stretch 2, and to have an even more compact version with still a just slightly shorter cutting edge would be great!... And the handle design you propose beautiful...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
You compression lock guys are killing me.. Will you not rest until you have conquered all models? :P
At least i haven't seen any suggestion (yet) to desecrate a classic with FRN scales :D
I have asked Sal and Eric several times in person for two years now to make a full size Jess Horn sprint. I’d be very happy with it having the same dark gray G10 and VG-10 like the recent Baby Horn sprint (which is still in stock at many dealers). The Baby version is great but the full size model is where it’s at. :)
+1
I'll vow to buy multiple if it helps.
Also kicking myself recently for missing out on the last Jester sprint. Hope they do another one eventually.
I'll see if I can get my user into my pocket. It's such a shame because I find the egos are great for use without any jimping.
Not all, but a bunch of them are. I sold one unused that was beautiful but I needed the money. I then bought one and used the hades out of it. Jimping would be nice but I think that it would ruin the spirit of the knife. If Spyderco made one that had a really good modern steel then I would love to see what it could really do. It could be a knife with an extremely exaggerated Spyderedge. It would be a PITA to sharpen though.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

Scorpius. I love the handle - looks ergonomic as **** - and the way the blade flows from it is remarkable. It’s also a 3” blade, which is about my limit where I live.
The ProGrip would be awesome with some updated materials. The Stretch-like blade shape works great in smaller models too. The ProGrip was where I started so maybe I’m just nostalgic.
Absolutely bring back the Catcherman, I’ve seen so many people calling for it. I think it has a lot of potential to be a hit.
A Starmate, the original recipe with aficionado grade materials would be so choice. The design is so classic, so clean; it’s begging for it. Hollow ground, nested liners but carbon fiber and S90v.
The Persian of course can comeback anytime and be a huge hit.
Kiwi, Kopa, OG Jesshorn... just hand me some jigged bone please!
