Thanks for clearing it up Sal!
Also, does the spring assembly from a Autonomy fit the new model?
Yes, the spring assembly from the orange Autonomy with the chrome replacement pivot screw will work with the Autonomy 2. I just ordered a kit from SFO.
Wait what? They sell the assembly?
They do indeed. :) image.jpeg

Do you think the black kit would fit? I wouldn't mind just a bit more subdued look

Do they sell the assembly due to their restricted item policy?

Thanks! That's great to hear!

Does anyone know a good site for checking legality on autos? I want to gift a couple of these and wanted to check legality in Washington state and Virginia.

Edit: Google found me this map: https://www.akti.org/state-laws-regarding-automatics/

So my answer is "No" full stop in VA and "No" (except law enforcement) in WA.

I was told by SFO both kits will work, however, the orange kit, due to the chrome pivot screw in the kit, is the closest match.

Question for you friends, do you think there'd be much risk of accidental deployment if carried in the left pocket? Presuming the safety had been disengaged either intentionally or accidentally.

You have to put a fair amount of pressure against the deployment button to get the blade to fire as well as the safety requires some effort to turn off also.

If anyone else is looking, Campsaver has these in stock and a 20% off coupon that expires today. I just ordered one yesterday (from Knifeworks) or I'd be all over this deal.

Showing not in stock yet.

I have one coming from knifeworks and another from opticaplanet from cyber Monday sale of 11% off. If campsaver is anything like opticsplanet.... they will require a signed form before they can even process the order...... I say that, because both websites are set up the same way.

I bought one from DLT. Just clicked the box stating it's legal in my state and a couple days later, BAM! New knife!
My new Autonomy 2 has fantastic action, very happy on day one of ownership.

Mine will be here Monday from Knifeworks... they also use the click box method of determining legal ownership.

It is exactly the profile of the Spyderco mule just ~3/8" longer. Also, why does the button have to be sharp? Bevel it a little. I do like it.
Can you find it and can it cut?

I think the sharp button will be helpful when deploying the blade in wet/slippery/cold conditions, especially with gloves on.

I look at it this way; just like the "crisp" edges on the Spyderhole, it's a lot easier for someone who finds it too sharp to bevel or round it off a bit than it would be for someone who wanted more traction to make a beveled or rounded off one sharp.

I’m still loving mine! LC200N ate through a ton of cardboard last night and was scary how easily it touched up to hair popping sharp!

That's what I did. It's actually not a problem except when you open and close it over and over. I have no idea why someone might do that.
