I want to thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. My mother is (much) better now. :) I told her that many people from all over the world, people she never heard of, are praying for her and she was really touched. :)
The doctor said she is actually surprised how fast my mother is recovering. Seems that a blood vessel exploded in her brain (I know there is a specific term for this, but I don't know it), but it didn't do that great damage. She can move her body, even started to walk with a bit of support. Still has to spend some time in the hospital, but God will she will make it without secondary effects.

It is true, there are moments in life when I doubt that God takes care any more of what He's doing on this filthy Earth, but I'll never doubt the power of prayers (I think...). ;)
God bless you all. You have been of great support and it really means a lot to me.

You're looking for the term aneurysm, Dialex. She's incredibly lucky- aneurysms are often fatal.

I guess this whole prayer thing works, huh? ;)

We just brought her home today. She seems in a fair shape. :) Hopefully, she will recover better at home than in the hospital.

Dialex,

Been absent. Glad to hear Mrs. Diaconsecu is recovering and home with her loved ones. The "catch up" invocations are on the way and we will continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Hang in there. :)
