Black Blade Military

#1

Post by PsychGrad »

I just noticed that someone has one of these (used) on ebay. The black coating looks really nice. Were these a sprint run? Any idea where I might find one?

Thanks,

ThinkOfTheChildren has a pic from the Spydie Book on his site of a black bladed Military I think...

A mate of mine had a black bladed Military for a while. From memory it was one of the earlier 2 screw models. They were discontinued because the coating didn't stand up.

Early on Spyderco made the C36 with both plain and serrated black blades. I believe they were discontinued in 1997. At that time retail was 199.95.

Jolly good show! This would stand to reason,
as <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> produced a limited run of "Police"
models with this coating. Wish they'd do it
again! So many Spydies, so little money! <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
