I'm sure Dr Snubnose can recommend a place or two to carry those knives. I have to admit, though, I can't particularly recommend his super-secret Delica carry location! ;) I don't even want to think about that because my initial reaction involved removing the clip and some form of lubrication. :con...

I'm running out of pockets!
So I, like most of you, I have been carrying around Spydercos for while now. I have several different blades I carry, but lately I've run out of pockets to carry these things in! Mainly I've run out of pockets because of other gadgets I EDC carry now, like 4Sevens flashlights, Leatherman Multi-tools...

I carried a Bali-Song when I went to High School on the outskirts of Chicago. Gang violence and general fist fights broke out frequently. The only fight I ever got in though was caused by.... wait for it.... the Bali-Song in my back pocket. Go figure... Want to hear something even funnier than that?...

Ok... I think I'm hooked on this sharpening thing now. I'm not really any better yet, but now I'm searching my house and my friends and family's pockets for knives in need of sharpening. I'm looking to expand beyond the very fine Sharpmaker to try smaller angles. Can you guys recommend an additional...

Peel-ply and other less-textured carbon fiber weaves just don't do it for me like the twill weave does. It gives a nice little bit of grip and it's just SO easy on the eyes. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y27/SpIice/180f2f26.jpg What's your preference? Post a picture of your favorite Sorry I have...

Well here are the results of my first real go at it. I did the marker trick. After my first passes with the brown stones I was removing the marker just from the very edge. And I mean right up to the very edge. None of the marker was really coming off of the bevel at all except in one spot about 1/4i...

to learn how to get scary sharp knives with my Sharpmaker! So I just put an Endura 4 in solid ZDP 189 in the mail to Golden to have them sharpen it. Man that steel is hard, but all I could seem to do with it is make the edge more dull. But doing this was a bit frustrating as a man. I equate it to as...

Sal, Thank you for responding to my post. We must have similar tastes in knives because I always seem to find out after the fact that we have been carrying around the same models. Though I obviously don't have a Chapparal to carry around yet. Could you possibly give us any additional information on ...

Since finding this model I've been considering one as a cheaper knife that I can practice my sharpening skills on when it gets dull. Most of my knives are some variation of ZDP 189 which is proving near impossible for a novice like me to sharpen. Every time I try sharpening one of these I look down ...

I have no idea how the EMS business works but are you responsible for providing all tools, protective gear/clothing you need? Are you employed by a company that charges people they help depending on what they do to help them? Remove baby from car: $100.00, perform CPR: $50.00, save a person's life ...

911 Truck means that I'm on a unit that responds to 911 calls. Most ambulances you see roaming the streets are actually transport units that are taking patients from one hospital to another or a nursing home to the hospital or vice versa. The Caly 3 would be fine for transport duty because it would ...
