Oh come on. Para 3s have survived direct 155mm artillery and 1,000 pound bombs. When they searched the cave after the MOAB was dropped all they found was an intact s110v Para 3.

My 11-year old son is a huge self-proclaimed "knife nerd." He LOVES Spyderco, and the Spyderco catalog is his bedtime reading. Does anyone know other kids in Colorado or elsewhere who are knife nerds and would be interested in "talking knives" with my son? He is pretty mature for his age, knowledge...

The International Council of Folding Knives has already stated that the Para 3 is the toughest folder in the world, but withdraw their vote after being firebombed by unreasonable PM2 and Millie fans. Get over it fellows.

I think the Para 3 LW was designed to be a lower cost entry into the Spyderco's best knife line. Maybe a few lower cost metals might make sense, but the real steel belongs with the Para 3 HW line as it should.

I do an awesome venison Chili. Takes me around 4 hours to make it and cook it.

Leave the steel options with the Para 3 HW.

Not to be a party pooper, but I've had alligators and water moccasins in my yard growing up and it didn't have to rain.

I've had issues with KC including never shipping some pre-sale knives, but overall they do a good job. They also have a point system that allows you turn earn discounts. When I look for a knife and the prices are the same I go to KC for the points. Also I get emails from them all the time and Spyder...
