Re: My thoughts on the Native Chief LW
Very good, informative, and honest review. I think we need to see more of those. Cons were covered in a very professional way, I would say, and one would hope, in a way that might one day inspire CQI. Hat off.

Re: Coated Seki K390 knives?
DLC, cerakote or new Spyderco in house coating for Seki folders would be awesome. I have to say I love the look of DLT coated olive handled Endela for example, unfortunately not being shipped to Europe. If Spyderco would have more colour options of handles (tan, olive, forest green) and different fi...

+1 on Dyad, I wish at least FRN model would be in the standard offer.

Re: Help choosing gift
Welcome lemontwist, Many good suggestions already, here my random thoughts: - For fishing a Salt model obviously would be a good choice indeed, and here the Salt 2 ("small") and the Pacific Salt ("large") are affordable, great options. I´d go with the LC200N (green handles) rath...

Re: Finally got a G-10 Manix
Bought G10 Manix last year, it was a bit tougher to open an close. I felt a lot of tension from the spring I would say. Closing mechanism hurt my thumb and index finger. Lubed with KPL a bit played with the main pivot a bit and broke it in. After like two months of irregular carry it became smooth a...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
most probably too many negative replies impacted the decision making process. Wait so just because 13% of ~100 people voted no they dropped it? Of course 100% agreement is not possible, but a small amount of pepole not being interested in a exclusive impacted the desicion so negatively? Seems odd t...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
Thanks for the information. It is really a shame. People who voted for no should think a little about how to behave. For me, as a Spyderco lover, it is really hard to deal with. I wish we in Europe will get better chance to grab sprints/dealer exclusives. But I think that will NOT happen... Yes, it...

Re: What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?
Not looking for your favorite model, but literally the best combo: model + steel + scale material + scale color + edge type. Sprint, exclusive, or production. All count! I`ve owned quite few Spyderco`s, currently I have in my rotation 15 of them and all of them users. If I would have to say best co...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
Lamnia dropped the idea after I shared link to this thread as requested by them and never got back to me again. Unfortunately it will not happen it seems, most probably too many negative replies impacted the decision making process. I was surprised by quite a few "No" answers from people n...

Re: Spyderco Groom carry suggestions
Well, I do not have that budget for too high end Spyderco, to be honest and all my knives are users after all. I never owned piece that is too expensive as I would not have heart to use it :grin-sweat . As silly as it sounds, my most expensive knife I own is S90V PPT which I bought from Nemo for ext...

Thank you all! Some great suggestions, Chap having most votes, very classy Delica I have in my collection received some approval as well (love that knife and find her extremely elegant). My lady will have her beloved Cricket in SE. I offered Pink Squeak as she doesn`t carry larger blades but Cricket...

Re: Spyderco Groom carry suggestions
Hi Folks, in less than a month I will marry love of my life First and foremost: Congrats and I wish you two all the best and a good life together! / To your question: Another vote for the Chaparral , ideally one of the "even nicer" models, like the maple or raffir noble. Classy, very slim...

Re: Spyderco Groom carry suggestions
If I was fortunate enough to find a soulmate in this turbulent time I would only carry some of Spyderco's finest to that big day. My two suggestions right of the top of my head would be the Cruwear C-60 Ayoob or one of the more recent Para2 models. I don't think you could go wrong with either one o...

Spyderco Groom carry suggestions
Hi Folks, in less than a month I will marry love of my life, person I look forward getting old with and my best friend at the same time. Now important question is, what Spyderco to carry this day? There is going to be some charcuterie and cheese boards on the "garden party" and I am torn b...

Re: Manbug doesn‘t safely lock anymore
Well, if you bought it from respectable vendor, it should not be hard to talk to them and ask if they can send it for you to Spyderco Headquarters in Colorado for inspection OR you can send it yourself via post to the warranty service (would recommend first getting in touch with Spyderco Warranty). ...

Re: My first SLIPIT experience / Spyderco Urban
Very nice quick review! Urban is one of my most favorite models from Spyderco. It is usually accompanied by my Squeak. For people looking for bigger blade, UK Penknife is bigger brother of Urban.
Fantastic choice and love your Nontron!
