Endura 4 ZDP-189 SE (C10SGRE)

Just picked up a LNIB Endura 4 SE IN ZDP-189 that was discontinued in 2010. Sabre grind and the spydie edge cuts like going through butter. What a great knife! Sorry to see it discontinued.

Re: Spyderco Embassy is back!

Got mine today and it’s gorgeous! One question though. I noticed these machine marks around the button under the coating. After talking to another friend his has this as well. I do not see these kind of stepping marks on my older ones. https://imgur.com/a/fT6WlXJ The stepping marks on there on both...

Re: Autonomy 2

Question for you friends, do you think there'd be much risk of accidental deployment if carried in the left pocket? Presuming the safety had been disengaged either intentionally or accidentally. You have to put a fair amount of pressure against the deployment button to get the blade to fire as well...

I ordered the black to see if it'll work.
I was told by SFO both kits will work, however, the orange kit, due to the chrome pivot screw in the kit, is the closest match.

Re: Autonomy 2

Thanks for clearing it up Sal! Also, does the spring assembly from a Autonomy fit the new model? Yes, the spring assembly from the orange Autonomy with the chrome replacement pivot screw will work with the Autonomy 2. I just ordered a kit from SFO. Wait what? They sell the assembly? They do indeed....

Just received my Autonomy 2. The fit/finish and action is superb! Another home run for Spyderco. Here it is with the rest of the auto collection:

SFO Clip Replacement Assistance

As a collector that orders a lot of replacement clip sets from SFO, I want to express my thanks and appreciation for the friendliness and attention to customer service that all the SFO personnel I deal with display! Their presence and demeanor is a huge differentiator for Spyderco and it is apprecia...

Thanks Kristi, and my apologies for posting in the wrong forum.
Hey, Tom:
No apologies needed. I have some good news though, I received an update today and the Autonomy 2 will start shipping out this week. :)

Thanks much for your interest!

Re: 2018 Alistair Phillips!

Interesting. I went to loosen the pivot point to get a better drop and the usual T8 driver for pivots was too small. Had to take it up to a T10, which was the largest I had, and there was still some slippage.

Re: 2018 Alistair Phillips!

If I hold the knife as I would for cutting and disengage the lock with my thumb and no pressure on the clip side scale it drops shut freely and the blade choil swings into my index finger. Works fine for me, though not quite as fidget friendly. ;) Thanks for the helpful tip! I’ve been working on di...

Re: 2018 Alistair Phillips!

Only one minor issue, with the lock. The lock bar tension is pretty stiff and the cutout for access to the lock is a bit small so it's not as nice on my finger tip as my para 3. That, along with the small amount of clearance between the fully depressed lock bar and the blade and trying not to squee...

Re: Just bought 2 new enduras with ATS-55 on the blade

Call the SFO and give them the model numbers to see if they have any clip sets in stock. They’re great to deal with and the cost for a clip set is minimal.
