Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Thanks y'all, I've been expanding my TI collection. Looking to score a Demko AD20 full TI as my next acquisition. Although my funds are reserved at the moment for that S90V/CF Military 2. That is one of my dream knives for sure. Here's a SBD I have that is just a top tier specimen. Although I never ...

Got myself a Chavez again. These Scapegoats are sick (and thick) and the blade is pretty slicey.

Re: Spyderco 2024 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

I picked up my Slysz Bowie in 2017, as a gift to myself for turning 28 lol; I got the year mixed up.
And yes I agree a PM2 with S90V could easily be the one knife; I put some OEM CF on mine.
To stay more relevant to the topic, is anyone else as hyper excited to get a Military 2 with CF/S90V as I?

Re: Spyderco 2024 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

After reading this, I tried to remember what I paid for the OG Slysz Bowie. I can't remember, and cannot find that info in my email at this moment. If I had to guess, I'd say around $375, and that was probably circa 2015. The OG Slysz Bowie C186Ti - Stonewash Ti- PE - CTS-XHP was in production from...

Re: Knife Missile, the Hellfire R9X...!

The amazing Backyard Scientist pioneered this concept, according to him. He joked in one of his follow-up videos that the D.O.D. owes him money for this idea hehe. https://youtu.be/govKYxJ4IxY?si=xwH2jM6VlrzgFz-l He made a few different versions of it and the most recent one has a crazy entertaining...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!

I'm glad I passed on the first run of these, I already own the OG Bowie and thought they were too similar. And I was also thinking about the folks who really wanted to get their hands on one; although the flippers didn't make that any easier for people. Anyway the over travel stop is enough extra di...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!

To anyone that owns Slysz knives: Is the opening similar between the Bowie and the Chef? Both the Chef and the Techno2 seem to be easy to open. But I found the Swayback to be more difficult to open via the Spydie hole. Maybe it is the size of my thumb, but the Swayback just doesn't seem to work wel...

Yes, I'll definitely pick up one. I like that the LW has a thinner blade and handle.

GB 2 is based

I finally got my hands on a Gayle Bradley folder, the 2nd edition with jade G10 and Cruwear. It's such a straightforward design with really no nonsense or unnecessary features. It's just a solid blade shape, with no finger choil and a very sturdy handle that feels full and solid. When I hold it, I c...

Re: gray G-10 CPM-Cruwear... delica?

Yes please. I have the gray G10/Cruwear combos with the Stretch XL and the Ayoob; I also have the Baby Horn with VG10 and gray G10. A Delica or ENDURA would be excellent with Cruwear and gray G10.

Just keep hunting on bladeforums or crk authorized dealers; I was able to find one within a few months of hunting, some of it is luck and the rest is patience (and obsession)
