They do also make zero grind razors called a wedge and they also make chisel ground razors in Japan. Anything can be suitable for shaving if it's sharp enough. Trust me though. Try not to buy/sell/trade on the Spyderco forums (at least publicly).

My stonewashed Domino has heavier/lighter areas as well. Yours looks unused but if you can't tell in person I doubt I'd be able to from pictures. Congrats on a nice knife, the quality makes $192 a great deal for the knife.
