Re: Shipping of internal parts
Hi S7ORM3X, Welcome to our forum. You'll probably have to send it into the factory. We've built many Manix G-10 models over the years and there have been many adjustments made. sal Seems to me the overriding subject is hardware. Nobody loses a stop pin. What we lose is the hardware attaching said s...

Re: Bead blasting G10
Interesting thread. I have often wondered about blasting (with some sort of media, don't know what) the uber-slick carbon fiber scales on a Caly. I'd really like some more traction on those scales. Stuart, you probably know that blasting with baking soda is a common "gentle" media to use....

Bead blasting G10
Has anyone bead blasted their G10 scales? I wanted to change the color of some black tenacious scales, so had friend bead blast them.
Haven't got them back yet but he sent a pic of the results.
Wondering if it will take a RIT dye now.

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
I have to concentrate more when unlocking the Kapara because of its skinny and relatively slicker scales. Sometimes I feel like I might accidentally drop it while manipulating the compression lock. Thus it gets used less compared to the Yojimbo 2 or Amalgam, for example. I don’t have one but have h...

Re: Question about lanyard holes.........
:hundred-points Liked "Aestheticly Inclined" ;) Personally, I won’t buy a ”work” folder without a lanyard hole. I attach a float or lanyard to all of my work knives so any design without a lanyard hole is a non starter for me. Sometimes people label certain design characteristics as “compl...

Re: Post your Spyderco collection in one picture!
Guess I should show the flip side..
this is one of the blades I worked on in trade for some new scales. It's a Kershaw Natrix in Copper and he wanted it to look like it came from a shipwreck.
